Whilst not unusual it's a strange response to a good set of figures.
Perhaps a pm reversal for the better today.

I have yet to scrutinise all factors but the chief one is to determine how frequently copper cable is removed from Transnet down to Durban and Richards Bay. Several routes elsewhere are badly affected, so much so that lines are closed down. Otherwise (Covid5 notwithstanding) a growth story is on its way.

Then possibly had hassles at Skua.

Getting ready now. Supply vessels removing unnecessary weight from Valaris. Tow preps normally take 24 hours before tow commences.

Having dithered far too long I took up some stock today.

Have stayed out of the JSE and SA for several years - obvious reasons - but there is a strong argument for investment here. Have perhaps neglected incidentals, such as pilfered Transnet cable, but hope it and other features are not major issues for the company.

"Tharisa", the poster, seems to know much more about Rustenburg (and the province) better than I do. Hope he continues with the punchy input. I'll give tomorrow's details considerable scrutiny. Rich, I notice you, too, are here.

The field could be coming back online very soon. Montara Venture is back on station ~10 km from the rig. Does hook-up take a week? Flushing can't take place until then.

Hope Valaris hasn't lost a tool as the rig on #10 has gone past its schedule.

@ 08:09 - My remark was tongue-in-cheek, mainly to suggest barges should not remain unescorted. Clearly the northern pipeline in Loreto can not be protected. And it is difficult to visualise Castillo being present at any negotiations. An impasse.

Hadn't realised we have trekked ~30 km SW to the Siaya/Vihiga county border. When Eric speaks of "historic" I presume he refers to the litany of informal mine fatalities. There's a lot of Au in place.
