Just having another look at THS credentials owing to a very wet day in Kent. And, ideally, I want to add again leading into 2023. Bear in mind there is a lot of potential on offer north of the Limpopo (plus Botswana).

Anyone who has Africa in the blood so to speak - and enjoys reading - could do worse than pick up "Cry of the Kalahari" during the wet weather. Recently reprinted it reminds me of my time in southern Africa.

In the old days Saffers on the Reef, CT and Durbs never got going until about 20th Jan each year. They were all on holiday. It might be a little different now. Another snag was ore invariably was pulled out of the ground and exported in crude state. Phoevos is now making a point of added value, i.e. refinements of all processes and stepping up clientele numbers to 50.

I certainly look forward to his next presentation although Zim will be commanding most of his attention at present.

Some of the trades, unless they are rollovers or private transactions, are encouraging.

MorningStar ownership does not throw much light on insti participation and it is generally unreliable at best. PB could be helpful by updating the share register. My own impression is at least one party has been reducing in the last few weeks, although the surplus stock has been quickly taken up.

Just keeping an occasional check on the Great Dyke mining scene.
ERG don't look as though they are going to do anything with Todal.
PGM concentration is pronounced in the area.
Maybe Phoevos is keeping a weather eye on it all.
But when examining Amplats/Zimplats capital expenditure further involvement on e.g. Todal-Bokai looks a step too far.
A big 12 months is surely ratcheting up . . ..

I did an examination refresher across the Bushveld yesterday and was reminded of its varied mineral wealth. PP has mentioned "diversification" more than once. The northern limb - Platreef - has revealed further rich mineralisation similar to the NW.

Tharisa's license area, common to the Bushveld, contains Au, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni and other. It remains to be seen if they are present in sufficient volume in granitic formations. Abundant elements can be found at surface all over SA. (It's like the Jurassic Coast in terms of interest.)

Haven't been through Beit Bridge and up the A4 to Harare for many years having lost interest during the Mugabe chaos.

Acreage in excess of 50k in a richly endowed area is major "geographical diversification".
As the Zim Business Times is referencing it I'll do likewise with similar attention.
Phoevos may have something to add in Jan and the BoD must surely be pursuing minutiae.
