Trying to see where Tharisa is going to take us if PP is speaking of local potential. Offhand I'd say many elements are at surface, ideal for open-pit exploitation.
The Bushveld mineral "complex contains the world's largest reserves of platinum-group metals (PGMs) or platinum group elements (PGEs)—platinum, palladium, osmium, iridium, rhodium, and ruthenium along with vast quantities of iron, tin, chromium, titanium and vanadium".
In the past SA's tendency has been to pull minerals out of the ground and send them all over the world without adding value. I might stay on board for quite some time to see where the company is going. Open pit opportunities in the Bushveld complex are still numerous.
