Damn and blast. I can see the navy stepping in here in order to safeguard transport. The prospect of an earlier "gunboat diplomacy" thought becomes a reality. Blockading Station #1 is on the cards and barges tied to the shoreline will have to make their way down to Iquitos and Manaus. They are all double hulled.
For me it is yet another example of offering a finger but the whole hand being taken.
@ 17:11 - CI, my present average stands @ a tad over 101p. The punitive hit was @ 133p.
Agree with what you have said but my inclination is to add when a stock is judged to be recovering rather than targeting a lowest point. The methodology is probably not the smartest but it satisfies.
I continue to compile a fair number of CEY without trying to visualise fanciful $$ nos.
The total fleet seems to comprise of - "Five of these vessels have a cargo capacity of 20 thousand barrels (20 MB) and seven have a transport capacity of 8 thousand barrels (8 MB). In this way, PETROPERÚ has a fluvial fleet made up of 'Lagunas', 'Saramuro', 'Río Paranapura' and 'Puerto América' and 'Río Mayo' of 20 MB each, in addition to 'Río Putumayo', 'Río Yarapa', 'Río Pisqui', 'Tahuayo', 'Río Yavarí', 'Río Urubamba' and 'Río Ampiyacu', each with a capacity to transport 8 MB of fuel". Therefore it is just a matter of discovering how many barges Novum provides for shipments to Manaus.
Had no idea the naval shipyard was at Iquitos. See satellite view using all coordinates. Zoom. New barges visible when the shot was taken. Those laden barges must be lined up at Saramuro. Had thought the limit had been reached, yet a big increment on 11 November.
Kistos - my weekend reading. Should have done so months ago. Must also get stuck in to Dutch literature if there is any. No excuse as fluent in the language. Have baulked at DELT, ENQ, SQZ, etc. Donkerbroek, here I come.
According to one fella, who called the office, 320k barrels can be sent per shipment to Manaus. Light on the detail - How many barges are available (plus capacity)? How long to Manaus @ 4 knots plus return voyage upriver? How long to load and discharge?
We might not have an update before 9H comes onstream - scheduled for next week.
Digging in their heels. Calling the shots. 60-day truce as from when? 11th October? Looks as though Iquitos is the only barge recipient at present. Manaus update?
. . . Bit short of time to look into the refinery news at the moment. I know Eric expressed an interest way back but I would like to know if Shanta is contributing to the Lidambitsa, Ikolomani, 10-acre development. The answer is possibly a yes if the KK security training contribution is anything to go by.
Primarily saved for my own leisure reading material. It does, however, illustrate Paul Blakeley's massive daily workload. Shareholders are a tiny part of obligations. Environmental impact is now minutely detailed and has come a very long way since, say, my involvement with similar Mossel Bay studies.
After another study of the 4 km Skua footprint I might put in a final buy tomorrow with proceeds from CEY.
It is noted that 10 & 11 are in the northernmost segment, and JSE have further stakes in the Swallow and Swift wells, which will probably be subject to additional workovers . . . at some point. https://info.nopsema.gov.au/activities/409/show_public Whilst having examined Jadestone for several weeks/months some of the detail escaped attention. Eneco's troubled status also deserves a further check; H1 2022 is presumably going to be another completion date for the company. Together with Maari there are busy days ahead.
Continued firming of Brent will certainly do no harm.
Three reports below and they are going to drag on Friday 12th . . . and again in Iquitos on Friday 19th. So how much more can Manaus handle and what are the logistics?
I occasionally wonder how annoyed some LTHs are with the fall in value on their investments. There was a time, after the west wall fiasco, which left the SP wallowing ~£1.33. It seemed an acceptable blip. Not so now with a prolonged stay in the 90s.
Observing daily values of £000s in paper losses must be frustrating. For myself getting back to >£1 can't come soon enough.
As of 2 days ago Valaris107 remains anchored. Carnarvon Energy advises on 04/11/21 that - "VALARIS JU-107 jack up drilling rig contracted and expected to commence the Buffalo-10 well in late November 2021". 2 - 3 days needed to reach its new location.
So the workovers are behind schedule. Unless Blakeley gives us some news to arrest the slide we may yet drift a bit more. Treadind water on my last add-on.
