Why would the mm's advertise the sell at 1.25 and the buy at 1.35 and yet let us buy for days now at the £1.25/7 . they are advertising a spread of 0..10 but in reality have a very thin spread. Why have they not just dropped the buy price to around 1.27 and lowered the sell price - but this has remained like this for quite a few trading days - what does it mean? I have not got a clue but there must be a reason - and ideas folks

Hi all, just to let you know i bought 100,000 shares this morning at approx 8.40 am at 1.27 ( LSE were displaying 1.25 to sell and 1.35 to buy) - i am waiting to see if it is registered as a buy - i notice yesterday there were some sells registering at 1.27 also. I wonder if they were also buys. anyone on level 2- can they let me know? Good luck all
