I sent an e-mail to Anthony Catterson last night when the share price had fallen like a stone- not really expecting anything back to be honest. My e-mail to him was regarding the drop in share price since the last RNS, and the need to possibly support the price by regular posative news flow and directors buying shares would draw a line under the fall and give out confidence to holding and new investors. I am not sure about confidentiality etc of passing on anothers persons e-mail without their permission, but as you would expect nothing new was, or ever could be disclosed to me so i can not see the harm in it. I was impressed how quickly he got back to me, and i am re-assured by his reply - even though nothing of substance was really said. I am not the only person invested in XPS - The directors are holding far greater numbers than myself. Below is the e-mail.
Dear Mr. ........
Thanks for contacting me.
We are also obviously surprised and disappointed at the recent negative movement in share price for Expansys, in light of what we felt were progressive results, with an exciting platform for future growth based upon our evolving strategy. Please be assured that we always recognise the need for positive newsflow, and are keen to share that as soon as appropriate. Similarly, the Directors constantly review their own individual positions in relation to the potential purchase of shares in Expansys.
I can assure you that the entire global team are working incredibly hard to bring the strategy to life, in a way that is reflected in positive Investor interest.
Thanks again for your mail.
Regard
Anthony Catterson
