The home test, was our unique selling point ....will this still exist, or will this test be targeted just at airports and administered in a controlled manner, if you cant trust the public to use the test, then i guess they will need someone to be with them now, and in the future. Its a big part of the company this home testing kit. I would like an explanation of where we are at, and where we are going with this kit in particular.

Whats annoying me is that many here invested with the possibility of being invested in a company that had the only test, that could be performed at home by the public? ia self test. Now we have discovered that the public are to thick to use it properly ...is this unique selling point still on, or has the game changed , will this test be used somewhere else i.e Heathrow.... and if its good enough at Heathrow, then why not everywhere else the public will need a screening before entering..... more questions than answers as they say....

They get round imperfection / lack of perfection in testing by testing twice.
origibally everyone was after the gold standard, and would still like to achieve it but meanwhile the virus does not abate.

Therefore, any test that is sensitive enough to show if anyone is someone is in the contagious mode , will do as they are taken out of circulation ....then there is also the test twice , to mitigate imperfection,.

My question is ...why is Innova Medical Group, the only company named as one of the six remaining RFT manufacturers ? If you search they come up every time even in government / Research documents. They are involved in Liverpool. Why not the others? My theory is that innova has either passed stage four of the assessment process , or Liverpool is the stage four assessment. The others who knows ..
I've researched a great deal and only Innova appears in documents relating the final six....

The letter in question is from Stephen Powys, refers to the Innova lateral flow device being used for mass testing of the population in Liverpool.

If you listen from the beginning at around 10.10 seconds he mentions results due today! Also though when referring to hope successful the new tests are ( 10.50 seconds ) he states how good they are at "Catching the virus in the nose and throat".....

So is this just for Antigen or for Antibody as well do we know?

My money is on mologic being one of the six Antigen devices chosen........it has been involved in the Heathrow trials...,

This is what Mologic have said:

This is the first time i have seen any projection for the contract with Abingdon Health for COVID-19 antibody test

Looks like more good news... hold strong, onwards and upwards....
