Looking at my Morrisons link Sebs.
Have a look at all the tobacco brands listed and prices. Imagine if the three flavours of chill cigarettes were listed as the healthy alternative smoke along side these, within the same price range, say £11. I would expect many buyers to try a pack of Chill along with their normal brand - so to test it out. Then it will just come down to personal taste and whether the CBD helps them get of tobacco. Millions want to quit, and they will get a chance for an alternative given to them on a plate, at same cost. Whats not to like about that.

Sebs. I'm not talking about give away prices or special offers or relying on discount codes.... They need to have a firm price in the shops so people know what they are dealing with.

I think 10% or more smokers many of which would like to give up smoking tobacco immediately would switch if price was right, and the CBD actually helped you stop smoking. There has never been an alternative to smoking that is so much better for you, and is the same experience as smoking.

you have seen how vapes took off, and they are still a million miles away form smoking a cigarette, but a good solution for its day. There is nothing wrong with the product accept its retail price needs to be very close to the amount current smokers are willing to pay for their daily pack of fags, and that is 20 pack, not 10.

The money is to be found with current smokers, and the 100,000s of soon to be smokers, that join the wagon every year and the social smokers who occasional smoke and not this sub section of lifestyle bandits who want to look cool smoking because they feel it fits into their lifestyle etc. The lifestyle group will only jump ship when something else comes along.....smokers have had no alternative, they either smoke or they try and give up..but know there is a fantastic alternative which is being targeted and priced at people who can afford it only, and use it occasionally.

My gut feeling is if only CHILL could offer the quality of CHILL, but at an the average cigarette pack price of £10- £11 for twenty smokes - most smokers would try them, maybe 5% - 15% would switch and make CHILL their daily smoke, which would mean CHILL would benefit form their daily £10 daily spend. Many more would buy CHILL to substitute their tobacco cigarettes in a way of cutting down over time - and this would happen because the customer would be paying the same amount of money each day that they are used to paying £10 / £12 per day to smoke 20 cigarettes in UK = £3,600 gross per customer.

If CHILL could match the prices below then CHILL would be available for EVERYONE to buy, to replace their favourite tobacco smoke with a healthy option - as no extra cost to them. Millions of customers in UK, directly from the newsagents and supermarkets would try CHILL - and if only 10% of smokers became became loyal customers out of the 7 million smokers in UK then that's 700,000 people a day spending their £10 on CHILL. With a 15% profit to chill - that's approx. £1 m a day profit.
Smokers have waited for generations for a cigarette that you can enjoy that is safe! Its now here, why not sell it to all smokers and not just those who like to pay more for branding and image. The real profits are in all those small newsagents, and supermarkets who do nothing else than sell tobacco products. Its not as if you have to go out into the world and find the customers - go to any shop and there will be a queue in front of the cigarette counter.

I bet if CHILL changed their strategy and made everyday consumers who smoke their primary target market - this share price would fly.

Yes. May well happen. I was talking more about opening up the potential chill market to get those millions of hard core smokers who presently buy daily and make the tobacco company's millions a day - they would happily try a healthy alternative at a similar price that they pay now.

Branded lifestyle smoking must be very hit and miss, someone may buy one week and maybe next month - its the hardcore smokers who are paying a lot of money, maybe £12 each and every day whom we should be aiming at....If we Chill can retail pack of 20 for £12 ish then the market would open up considerably to CHILL.....and Chill could sell like the big tobacco company's have done for decades , rather than expensive lifestyle product , you may only buy a few times a month.

I hope CHILL smokes don't become a niche, expensive lifestyle brand hence restricting its potential on price point and risk becoming another Zoetic creams type product.
To be able to offer the world a low cost product, a substitute to smoking tobacco at a cost that most smokers can afford would be IMO a better company mantra than the one we have at present which is to make CHILL a lifestyle brand.

In UK, majority of smokers are in the lower economic bands and smoke regularly. The market, as we know is massive as everyday these ( many addicted) buy their pack of twenty smokes to last them the day.

Chill retails at approx. £10 a pack of ten smokes - so £20 for the equivalent pack of 20 smokes is very expensive to most people each day. In the US tobacco cigarettes are even cheaper than in UK so CHILL is also expensive there, i imagine.
When i was a smoker I chose Silk Cut as my preferred smoke, it was the best taste for the price - this was one of the expensive brands on offer and at todays price of approx. £13 a pack of twenty - it still makes CHILL look very expensive - there are many cheaper brands for around £10 per 20.

If I were still a smoker and tried, and liked CHILL, i would still not be able to justify the extra £7 a day price every day. Therefore, would not use it as a substitute for my £13 packet of 20 silk cut a day, everyday.

Therefore, its a shame CHILL will marginalise a massive amount of potential daily customers, on its price point.
Whoever manages to produce and get on shelves a pleasant tasting, healthy, no tobacco CBD smoke at a friendly price will be rewarded throughout the world.
Competition such as TAAT, and others non tobacco CBD smokes will arrive in the UK and sell at more reasonable retail price.
CHILL will probably beat them on quality but lose a massive amount of business on price.
I think the price alone make CHILL smokes an aspirational product by default as many can't afford it daily and even though CHILL might be better, it to expensive for your average cigarette smoker. Smokers often go for the best taste they can get for the price they can afford to pay.

That's where I see company's such as TAAT ( not necessarily TAAT) cleaning up at $6.99 for twenty smokes, no tobacco or nicotine and they aim for a similar price point in UK.

CHILL is good quality, but i think are automatically an aspirational brand on its price point , just as much as quality.
Shame CHILL can't take other CBD company's such as TAAT on head to head in outlets. t

The price points in US are
TAAT pack of 20 Menthol = $6.99 smokes
CHILL pack of 10 Menthol = $9.99 ( 20smokes = $19.99)

Imagine what CHILL could do if they could find a way to retail a pack of 20 Chill for £10-12 in UK. It could then be best product at very competitive price.

When I used to smoke I bought the flavour I enjoyed the most , which happened to be a more expensive smoke than many....however, for mass sales i would think quality over price is different to taste over price.....I thinks with smokes peeps will go for personal taste, price then quality. If price no problem they will go for personal taste imo.

When AATAC and New Age Beverages was first introduced to investors along with target amount 12,000 stores, the timelines ( 2 years) and a realistic objective of supplying 500 new stores per month .


"Progress with Mr Checkout has surpassed expectations with one of its partners, AATAC (a US national association comprised of smaller buying groups), expressing interest in taking both the chew pouches and smokables for distribution to its convenience stores in Florida and the surrounding area."

"In addition, Zoetic has developed interest from New Age Beverages Corporation, a Nasdaq listed distributor of healthy, natural products. New Age Beverages' supplies a number of well recognised brands including Nestea, Xing, Marley, Volvic and Coco Libre. New Age Beverages already distributes CBD and is interested in adding Chill's chew pouches and smokables to its supply chain."

Citizen. I am aware that I am close to being deleted from this BB soon......which is the normal process. I have not made this stuff up, the information I posted can be found in the company's RNSs.

Example. I do not understand why TAAT have permissions to take on a distributor in the UK, and sell their smokes from brick outlets and also on-line in the UK, but Chill can't or refuse to sell from high street shops but are happy to sell on-line only.
how can TAAT do it, but not CHILL?
Well maybe CHILL are playing the long game and want everything in place bureaucratically before they start to sell to distributors in UK. BUT, they are selling happy to sell on-line in the UK? and that's OK, apparently !

If I had an online product in the UK , and I had first mover advantage that was potentially game changing alternative to traditional cigarettes and was also aimed at the growing CBD community - then i would have enlisted a handful of journalists to splatter the weekend papers about this fantastic new, healthy alternative that is NOW on sale in the UK.
Word would spread fast and the fact it can only be bought online, is no longer the barrier it was pre covid, as most households buy on-line now.

The lack of any meaningful national promotion of CHILL smokes in the press, is quite amazing. The launch party was just ridiculous - so why is the CHILL Brand smokes not being advertised, promoted as expected and sold etc
CBD products can be advertised in the UK, where as traditional cigarettes are no longer allowed to be advertised, TAAT have stated they will stack their smokes in stands with their original company colour packaging as CBD products do not need to take the uniform packaging as regular tobacco packs in UKs. CHILL could do the same.

It does not make sense, and these observations or criticisms are not backward looking, or historic as its happening right now, and will continue into the future until a date yet to be disclosed.

I have a holding in the mid 60s, nothing as exciting as you guys - but I am invested.

I just can't understand how everything with CHILL is so secret, and how certain investors claim superior knowledge which when analysed is really based on the hope that in future the company get its act together and starts to move seriously towards it targets.

Citizen says "And to be honest you are once again looking for negativity in past results rather than look at the future of where the company is going".
This is a new company, the sp has collapsed, the BODs are getting a rep for over promising and under delivering....and you wan't to ignore their past performance, brush thee under the carpet and just keep your eye on the final prize.... . If you read the RNSs this past eighteen months it is littered with promises that have not yet materialised....and your advise is to ignore these and keep focussed on the future promises and targets. Often significant announcements are made, which effect share price and yet are never mentioned or confirmed again and investors are left to either brush these under the carpet and look forward or question what happened following the announcements of these significant events , such as

Feb 2000 "Total stores represented by these two distributors ( AATAC and New Age Beverages) are approximately 12,000. The Company's realistic objective is to supply around 500 new stores per month, subject to customer demand and manufacturing constraints, and so management estimate that it is likely to take up to two years for products to be rolled out across the entire network" . Where are we now 20 months following this announcement - no one knows, radio silence and apparently we learn there was never a target mentioned in an RNS.

Jul 2020 "Executed an international distribution agreement covering the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the first for the Company's Chill brand." ??

Feb 21 "the Schrader Family. Despite negligible marketing and no in store promotional spend, the results of the beta-store programme were extremely encouraging as Chill became the chain's number one selling CBD line and continued to see sales increase despite decreased footfall caused by the Covid-19 pandemic". Amazing , sales increase despite Covid -19 pandemic - have we heard anything similar from the company since?
- We are now in profit? What does this mean and whats the deal today?
The RNSs are littered with fantastic promises, many of which have not been updated for ages and yet, we are all supposed to continue believing everything we are told as if they are facts.

Citizen. Apologies, I was thinking the September quarterly were due this October! It seems we have a floating quarterly report..... September has been and gone..whats the problem? Revenue & total outlets , that's the gist of what we want to know, so we have at least some handle on how they are performing. The figures from the last quarter ending September are now history, Why, resist publishing them?
I personally think they have abandoned the quarterly reports, and in doing so avoided a particularly bad quarterly report ending September 21. they have managed this by introducing us to the latest idea of non linear reporting....that way they can report as and when, ensuring the BODs have more in control of what and when they report updates.
I could be wrong and they publish it mid November - but WHY? Its their way of avoiding publishing a poor report and that's the only explanation at this present time that explains their avoidance of publishing the last quarterly report. IMO

Well, unless it comes this evening after hours we will probably never find out how much progress the company made this last quarter. Clever stuff this non linear reporting! Lol ..............Just kicking it down the road.

I would say that no mention of the US 10,000 target in any RNS since the day they first announced it back in Feb 21 is highly significant. If you choose to bury your head and be the clever Trevor by taking the micky - says more about you. Think about It? Why have they decided to play this number down in RNSs, and only play it up with the home crowd verbally !

That was my observation.

OK. You get my point and you all say you know a lot more about what is going on with the roll out than I, so lets pretend you are right! keep you happy .......the next six months will be brilliant. Anyone expecting any news tomorrow ?

If you remember, they were also on target to deliver 10,000 in Feb 21....until they came off track, now back on track......Yes, on track means the same as it did in February 21 ......heading in the direction of....not a final destination. CHILL are also on track to distribute in the UK, distribute in Eastern Europe, etc ....same thing.

There is a world of difference in what is written in an RNS and published as a record for all investors to read and refer too, and what is said verbally at an AGM. Anyway, It is what it is.....lets see how she goes...ill relax in your safe hands...lol

There is no need to get excited. Its just an observation and i may be wrong if someone can show me an RNS since with this target included. Most company's put their best foot forward in updates / business updates etc RNSs and this is 10,000 number is moussing. Ill leave it there but hope someone can prove me wrong.

The 10,000 US store target by April 2022 must be their biggest, and nearest target and as far as investors go ..they must be wondering why the company have NOT mentioned this target ( yes, they may mention all distributers are still on side - but no mention of numbers or timeline) SO , why have CHILL not continue to reinforce this 10,000 target in updates throughout the year since February 21. Its the most exciting target for investors....do you think it was a serial error and they forgot to include it ? lol
