BB, I think your small but telling telephone research with a bunch of smoker friendly shops six months or more ago has turned out to be more correct, or at least more close to the reality than the guessing of potential daily sales per shop being banded around on this BB at the time.
With no mention of further progress on shop numbers in US selling Chill, and with an average around half a unit sold per shop per day..... is shocking......many of these stores have been selling for over six months and are well embedded, and this would have been known for many months. ...something is wrong ? Either a certain percentage of shops are selling much better than another percentage of shops who are selling nothing or most shops are turning over 3.5 packs a week!

Yes, its about time they restated their original target as it goes back well over 18 months or so and was made before they had even started rollout in earnest. I think a more realistic target should be made public, and if not they should at least confirm or deny that their original timeline - will now need to be be extended. The general confirmation today that the targets will be met, is meaningless as we all expect them to completed some day, its just when!

Yes, This is the only target i have found in an RNS - dated Feb 2020.
"Total stores represented by these two distributors are approximately 12,000. The Company’s realistic objective is to supply around 500 new stores per month, subject to customer demand and manufacturing constraints, and so management estimate that it is likely to take up to two years for products to be rolled out across the entire network".
Therefore, if this is the one being referred too I'm not sure how they will mange to complete this in an"realistic and achievable.". I think they will get their in the end -but the original timelines will slip significantly.

Can I ask you something regarding a statement made in todays RNS ....

"While it is regrettable that logistics issues have impacted on the pace of the rollout in the short-term, we are confident that previously announced targets are realistic and achievable."
A couple of things really, interesting they focus on the pace of the rollout and not the revenue from the rollout...without giving the rollout ( outlets) number to date.
In your opinion which actual targets are the BODs referring too ? I have heard all sorts of targets being discussed on this BB but do you know what the targets are? Are where i can find them? cheers Vas

Hi Max. yes, i agree with everything you have said. My point is that between now, and when they do eventually get this compony on its way up ....there will be a substantial lag of time, maybe 6 months plus ....and we know what lots of time, with no news does ...and that is assuming they do actually get this company sorted....all the changes, timelines, missed this and that, delays etc is getting a bit tiresome and i'm not sure how many chances people get these days.

All that has happened today is that the company have been forced to provide a snap shot of where the company stands Today, with very little data and no solutions on what they will do next, other than talk to their consultants.

Therefore, this RNS does not signify the end to anything or the beginnings to anything - its just a snap shot in time of the present dilemma the company faces. As mentioned earlier its hard to see how revenue / outlets can be accelerated in todays climate - and so i think we have several more quarters of work to be done before they will have the evidence to show the market that things are improving. IMO we have 3-6 months share price stagnation at least.

Unless the company can demonstrate how they will correct the trading situation and show figures to support this , i think that 12p is not the end of it. Its no longer enough just to repeat targets such as rollout still on target when all the evidence shows its not - unless they have a total game changer here where distribution / sales increase massively this next quarter then we will be in for the same again.
Sadly, it will takes months for the company to actually give evidence of a pick up in rollout numbers, revenue and pace....which gives investors at least another quarter of share price stagnation.

yes, we hopefully will have movement in UK Chill, possibly Europe - but none of these will happen overnight, could take several quarters to generate any revenue. Due to the above my view is still bleak.

Assuming there is still only 2500 shops selling daily for three months generating $561,330 of revenue which means on average each shop made $224 over three months / $75 a month gross / £2.5 per day per shop.

If they have opened more shops then the numbers get worse.

The thing about todays RNS IMO is that that they obviously still do not have a plan how to get out of this situation, any time soon.

The new way of communication with it investors is going to be this. "In future, the Group will not issue sales updates on a regular quarterly basis and will instead seek to communicate more fluidly with the market as new information becomes available."

Just count ourselves lucky that we were promised the end of September update - otherwise we would not have had this RNS today, just radio silence until they have good news to share , which in my book is a step back form sharing news regardless of whether its good or bad.

What will it take for the hardcore ramper's on this BB to realise that the fundamental problems with the CHILL SP the past seven months is not the views of investors who are different to you, with differing views - but due to the company itself.

IMO its obvious what is happening here. CHILL do not have anything positive or of substance in relation to how the company is performing financially to hand out to the market - so its playing for time, and are waiting for something positive to come along soon - so they can RNS it, and with luck bury a few negatives at the same time.

If I am wrong and CHILL have a positive news around finance, revenue, outlets etc then they are complicit in allowing the SP to fall through the floor without trying to support it. WHY?

Next time you look for someone to blame - look to those in control of what is left of your money, and this company.

3rd RNS was Spreadex selling again.

Some not so poor investor sold their 2.5 m shares at £350,000 today when it would have been worth £2.5 million a few months ago - that's the way to lose money, right there. It begs the question - Why did they wait all this time only to sell today? Why not hang on tight longer and hopefully see this out ?

Keep at them BB. Well Done. I think we shall here something fairly soon as their silence regarding the SP and progress report is becoming deafening....If they do not fill the gaps with some updates or explanations then the market will assume the worst !

Look out for a few director buys etc - so to shut up the moaning from 80% of investors and keep them happy. lol

Just an observation for those who are interested in gaps. The SP as i write has now filled a small gap created at close on Wednesday 9th September 2020 at 16.50p, with a volume of 1 million shares traded that day. The following day Thursday 10th the SP jumped to 18.7p on open when volume for that day was approx. 9 million traded . As i write the sell price of CHILL is 16.48p on IG. Interesting that we are here. Just checked price again and sell dropped again to 15.98p

Conrad02. I do not know you, and you me. What gives you the right to say " Vas is getting the SP down as much as his employer wants him to try. Stop encouraging him by replying".

My employer is Barts Health NHS Trust and yes they are short of many things - mainly qualified fresh staff.

I'm not short here and never have been, I'm an investor and invest with my own money, that's why I'm careful and have my own views....So who appointed you judge and executioner?

The question is, if the long awaited update is published soon will it be good enough to stop this slide or will it make matters worse ! I have no idea, but i'm sure someone at CHILL knows, hope its not a dammed if they do, dammed if they do not situation. GL Vas
