techie i'm as ****ed off as you with kongats and elliott but don't want cap-xx to fail.

can't work out what is going on to be honest as lar's is hyping the **** out of this yet we've not had any confirmation or news to backup what we think he is referring to.

also there is continuing large sells/buys going through but with 5.7b shares this is infiltrated with traders from bitcoin mining shares so lots of trades going on without any regards to the huge potential.

dh bought 581m shares and gc is heavily invested so something looks good. you might be right about revenue but if the patents are breakthrough and news lands like lars keeps dropping hints with investors get ready, stay tuned and the time has come if he doesn't come up with the goods he's no better than his predecessor.

we'll just have to wait and see but i'm certainly hopeful for a successful outcome this time as the patents are definitely progressing, an opps mgr with stacks of smt experience is on board, schurter are building a pipeline and have won a design win order as have cap-xx with 2 potentially huge customers. fingers crossed we get news soon.

Having read the information below again and considering Lar's comments you have to conclude that the binder patent with it's environmental attributes is what he is talking about and a deal is in the pipeline possibly involving a Korean based company that also manufacture batteries. If not he is putting a lot of hype out there.

The new binder system demonstrates excellent high-temperature stability, solid electrode processability, and superior final device electrical performance. Notably, the binder technology, used exclusively with aqueous electrode slurries, improves the environmental attributes of the organic solvents typically used in electrode manufacture. Apart from standard electric double-layer supercapacitor electrodes, the binder system developed by CAP-XX could also be applied to manufacture battery electrodes.

VR it depends what the smt and binder patents are worth if products are being produced and contracts signed but at 0.58p that seems very good value.

I'm surprised that they haven't provided one single update on the patents yet we can all see they've been applied for in China and Korea and progressed to the national phase. There's either big news being kept back under confidentiality or no news.

Lars....the time has come for lth's to be rewarded for their patience, loyalty and years of stress.

Parkez having done a bit more reading I believe it's because to apply for protection in China you have to submit your application written in Chinese.

Google identifies the language as simplified Chinese so I've assumed that is what it is however the same written language is also a requirement for Korea patent applications so not sure.

Hi parkez I've also noticed on patentscope when you sort by descending date/app that the smt and binder patent applications have corresponding applications beneath them written in Chinese but have different numbers and more recent dates. I'm not sure if they were there before or have been recently added.

Parkez do you think the commercial confidentiality clause within the last 2 reach announcements is also at the request of cap-xx because they include the new binder. Perhaps waiting for progress to the national phase and specific country involved Korea before more details can be provided. If we get a contract rns it may well explain all.

Parkez I get what you're saying about the reminder. If cap-xx sign a licensing deal for the binder patent with a huge Asian based conglomerate it could be massive as the binder can also be used for battery electrodes.

Unlikely schurter are actually Swiss based and interesting how like most other companies contracts report figures. I'm sure when cap-xx sign a contract with a big number we'll hear about it.
