It has been a chess move ( or poker play) that he has planned out since 2015/6 My worry is that The shareholders are his straw men if his plays do not work out

The bbc analysis today suggests that the SPV is primarily a strong political message of EU support and that experts inc trump critics believe it have little economic impact. The article suggests the spv will legally in place by next week but will not be operational for a few weeks yet What do others think- will the spv actually help a small business like WSG? Or is it all talk? Do wsg actually need it given lack of us business and workaround sourcing of suppliers and insurance Clearly the eventual fate of the jcpoa relies on a complex interplay both within Iran and other nation stakeholders. If phase 1 works they will start testing it with a cocktail of pDNA for hepatitis c , hiv and Zika. If it works well they may commercialise the Gowan’s patent also (for cytolytic dna) They could end up with a ranch of ponies

Nuvec should generate interest at bio Europe. Is it 5-9th nov? They attended the same conference in Amsterdam in March but now have positive data from the medi collab Exciting areas in medicine at the moment are immunotherapies, , vaccines, gene therapy, and nanoparticles strangely enough nuvec covers all of these

See yesterday’s ft and telegraph re GSK’s shingles vaccine which is called Shingrix, its new blockbuster drug. It is a subunit vaccine but the key component is the AS01b adjuvant. That adjuvant is a liposome

How come you guys do not share your research more? I don’t have many shares and so it’s easy to do it. I think we need to attract new shareholders but I agree that this should attract a new wave of mugs as per ponzu scheme. Hence I tryto provide evidence for my view, though I openly want the share to go up, ideally over a year timescale.

I am aware that I am ramping. I am happy not to post at all though. Ultimately the share goes randomly up and down- mainly down- irrespective of mine or others input

Also a reminder that drugs such as sildenafil mr go through phase 1,2 and 3 trials before they make money/ income. Nuvec or liposomes or other delivery platform on the other hand relies on preclinical research prior to a collaboration in order to earn money. Hence cellular models, small animals, and then large models. We are in the process of passing the equivalent of a phase 2 clinical trial

Bear in mind that electroporation does not work with liposomes (I can provide the link) and electroporation has been the only means of delivery of AZ’s vaccines to date. Not sure if it would work with other nanoparticles such as nuvec. Liposomes are a common commercial delivery vehicle however eg vaxfectin AZ has a collaboration with Cornell uni on ultra small silica nanoparticles announced in Feb 2018 and I was hoping they might collaborate with us. However they are a massive company that often collaborates with other big/massive companies. We shouldn’t be too harshly beaten up for lack of a hundred million dollar deal with them.(imho) We did extremely well to have 9 month collaboration hence the 36p share price In March 2018

Yep. Probably no AZ deal given tha share price, though they have 3 months from now to consider it. On the plus side the 9 month study was largely done with AZ which lends it credibility and the results were positive. We now have results from UoA and EU NCl to look forward to, and there are lots and lots of makers of dna and mRNA. vaccines whose products need enhancing. There are hundreds in early clinical trials alone. Some use liposomes. Nigel is a very good manager. Sildenafil was a disaster but it was mangaged and promoted and trailed efficiently. It was just a bad choice of product in the first place but that is easy to say in hindsight

Apologies I misunderstood this. Further immune response studies may be commissioned independent of medimmune ie the collaboration is not necessarily extended. Darn!

Maybe Nigel is telling the truth. Maybe they really ARE progressing negotiations/ discussions dependent on ongoing results

They have also been deliberately vague about the timing of results for a reason. These things can usually be times precisely

Remember medimmune are doing the studies and N4p own the data. It is medi that have extended the period of testing not N4p. They have done so for a reason in my view
