Continuation of the drop in long term borrowing rates. Ocado every 2 years or so needs to raise funds for its operations (it last did so in mid 2020). There are a large amount of overseas CFCs in development. These are costly to build out.

Currently the key indicator of long term interest rates, the 10 year American treasury note is showing an incredibly low 1.237% yield

It's a good point bitbybit. Driver capacity will impact Ocado as it will do all other retailers. I believe Ocado offer some of the best pay and benefits to their drivers so that puts them in a better position than others to retain their workforce. Shaggers54 could elaborate more on this.

The expansion of the overseas online grocery market is what really drives the Ocado share price, as this is where the majority of Ocado's revenue is forecast to come from 5+ years from now. Delta rates are increasing demand from consumers for online grocery all around the globe opening up new markets and increasing the possibility of Ocado's technology being utilised in more countries.

With UK Delta covid case numbers rising in all categories Ocado is well placed to further benefit from increasing online grocery demand.

All around the world the switch to online grocery is occurring at a faster pace. This means higher sales for Ocado's partners (higher profits for Ocado), higher probability of new partners for Ocado, higher probability of those new partners signing on more lucrative terms..

Since Buffet does not hold a direct stake in Ocado we do not know with certainty his confidence in the company. However with himself and Berkshire Hathaway increasing their Kroger stake to a very high level I believe it's safe to assume that Buffet views Kroger's digital strategy, which involves Ocado to a high degree, as highly attractive and undervalued....

Because it has an excellent digital strategy utilising Ocado's platform?

Or maybe it's viewed as a takeover target (which could be good news for Ocado)

Whatever it is it looks good news for Ocado...

Correction - Warren Buffets increased current stake in Ocado is now around £11.6m

Any win in Ocado's US lawsuit versus Autostore could be used as a bargaining chip versus the ITC Autostore v Ocado lawsuit. Of course if Ocado win both cases substantial damages could be payable to Ocado. Possible also that Ocado could lose both cases.

Good news the Ocado lawsuit v Autostore has cleared the first hurdle..

Warren Buffett owns 16.45% of Berkshire Hathaway. Berkshire Hathaway own 8.3% of Kroger. Therefore Buffett owns 1.365% of Kroger. Kroger own 6.36% of Ocado.

Warren Buffet, through his Berkshire Hathaway share stake, now owns 1.046% of Ocado, a stake worth around £141.9mill

Very little happened this week re the Ocado share price. Started at £17.96, ended at £17.80. Over a week probably the tightest share price trading range I have seen for Ocado shares. It will not remain this way. News should emerge re the Autostore ITC patent case in the coming weeks. Still a long term hold for me...

Exactly. At the start of the pandemic, Feb/Mar 2020, Ocado was around £12. Now it's £18.

It's a huge UK success story and a key player in the future of the online grocery industry.

Last year I was interested in further understanding MKS. It has some attractive attributes, some flaws too.

Personally I have remained invested in Ocado for around 4 years and have a 550% investment return to current date on my investment.

No change, Barclays have always been bearish on Ocado. The majority of the other leading banks though have turned positive on their Ocado outlook....
