RE: Pricing issue on M&S products v stores19 Oct 2020 09:15
There are some price differences. Some more expensive, some cheaper. This was the case when Waitrose was with Ocado. There is no total mark up across all products. It's a non issue
No gloating Gio, current covid conditions are very harsh for business. Structural weaknesses in companies are being exploited. Hope for you it bounces back but I can't see it.
RE: All sector going well MKS going south16 Oct 2020 16:14
MKS is mired in deep problems. The issues don't get discussed on this board. I've tried to discuss them but just had name calling etc. There's persistent hope on the board but the realities are not understood. 92p could be longed for soon.
Over 90% of Ocado's value is derived from its technology and its overseas online grocery solution contracts. Ocado is far more sheltered from a disorderly Brexit than most. Mainstream UK retailers/grocers are very exposed....
Nice rise. Again shows big RNS announcements aren't needed for a big lift to the share price. Covid worsening around the world further embeds online grocery as the shopping method of choice. Bigger world online grocery market means a bigger slice of it for Ocado.
They obviously believe there is less shorting opportunity for them now. Good that no other major shorts have opened. Should be a stable rebuilding phase for the share price now..
