The sp decline while disappointing is probably a consequence of quite a number of factors :

A slowing momentum following the stellar rise at the end of last year .
Some profit taking by early beneficiaries of the rise .
Impatience about apparent lack of progress over closure of projects .
No conclusion to that CC , yet .
A general retrace involving many `Green `stocks .
Covid related delays .
Year end portfolio adjustments .
Lead times to bring projects on stream .
The impatient desire to have almost daily statements of encouragement and promotion .
...etc .... I`m sure you can all think of other reasons !
BUT :
Let`s not lose sight of all the many positives here , the fundamentals for investing and the huge potential for the future of this business .
Disappointing as the current sp may be , any one of so many factors could have this shooting north again before PI`s have the opportunity to invest or rebuy stakes that they may have sold . News could arrive at any moment however repeating the boring mantra I`m sure will prove to be the key to future wealth creation and at the moment this share is `Cheap` , imo :

A drift in interest as a resul

One the main reasons I dumped all my stock ( baring a few quid for my night out , but now valued as a bag of crisps ) was my concern surrounding prelea`s c. 20% ownership of the asset .
At that time it seemed that whatever happened to the Company he was effectively in a no lose situation .
Even then the Company was being managed so overtly badly that I felt there might be a plan afoot to develop the business at shareholders expense while at the same time destroying market cap and thereby facilitating some privatisation strategy . On the face of it the possibility of privatisation has diminished with prelea having to convert his share to stock , but , I`m not so sure the possibility of privatisation has entirely disappeared . Despite the hindrance of AIM and market rules , ( which never seem to prove very much of a hindrance ) prelea certainly had some wealthy contacts in the past , some of whom were invested in this business . Should there be a plan to address the Atlas and even the Mercuria debt , could there be a possibility of taking the remaining distressed asset out for a pittance ? There are certainly many mysteries surrounding VAST , there have only been two consistencies , prelea and a collapsing valuation . Then , on the question of valuation ; what is the realistic , true valuation of BP and of course , is there really any value at all in Zimbabwe ?
I believe that shareholders will only get the truth and save their investment if there is an immediate change to all senior management .
My opinion , is that this Company has been managed as some personal fiefdom and those beneficiaries will find it hard to let go , absolutely nothing would surprise me as this moves into the next fearful, farcical phase .

I am a little surprised to see that you have retained a material interest here .
I know that over the years you have consistently questioned the integrity of this business and its officers through balanced , well considered and detailed research information .

* There is always doubt and confusion regarding the precise identification of trades in the short term .

Yes , while we should always observe lessons from history , the crucial issue regarding VAST concerns its future .
The history here is absolutely shocking , the future here would seem to be more of the same , perhaps terminal .
Taking a loss on any investment is painful , taking a loss on this share is likely to be very painful .
BUT ~ No matter how much you paid for your shares , would you rather have $500 in your pocket or $0 ?

Everytime I get an RNS notification for VAST , I have a quick look to see what`s happened .
Everytime I do , I see prelea is ~ " Pleased to announce " ~
Romania is certainly a strange place , but does prelea live in some parallel universe ?
Oh ! wait a minute , he hasn`t mentioned that Lucy`s diamonds will be hugely value accretive next week ........
What a complete shambles . How can he possibly continue as the CEO ?
I`m not sure that a Company can trade their stock below .0001 p . Consolidation is THE only route forward but surely not with the slippery prelea managing events . prelea and tucker must be toast at last . A couple of incompetent , deceptive snake oil salesmen who have raped most ordinary PI`s . Action should have been taken months ago . I dont know how they got away with those smoke and mirror RNS about delays , Funds and Trucks etc...etc... Fortunately they are both also going to be casualties in the forthcoming restructuring . I would not be surprised if they separate the SA operation to try to facilitate a continued lifestyle .
Shame on those with their `apparent financial expertise` who so vigorously promoted prelea on this thread , with their posts about his business skills , foresight , management ability , and the inevitable success of this business .
You know who you are and , imo , even if you lost money , you were certainly complicit in persuading others to invest and probably lose theirs .
Without consolidation and total restructuring , it`s probably lights out .
The whole entity and it`s ramifications are an absolute disgrace .
I sincerely hope that ordinary PI`s can recover some of their investment here .

btw ~~~ There is of course the `Unmentionable possibility` that we are about to have another CR .
I would be VERY disappointed if that were the case , as we have been led to believe that income would be available to develop the resource . I imagine employees who have taken stock in lieu of salary would also be somewhat disappointed .
On the other hand a CR for the RIGHT reasons , eg ; to develop an asset more speedily , can be immediately value accretive .
Investors will just have to stick it out for a bit longer .

Any investor with an interest in the Oil Industry , with just a modicum of research , will see that the gurgling reports from OMJ are quite simply an edited selection of reports already in the public domain through RNS or Statements by Directors or Officers of those Companies .
As you can see , he is no supporter of anything BLOE and I am no no supporter of the talentless OMJ .

As I believe I started the `Guess the SP` thread with the words : "Just for fun....." I feel compelled to respond to the inaccuracies in the post by the rude Mr Lochranzalad at 9.100 this morning :
I am not a "10% beer money trader" . I have not sold any EQT shares this year . I have been buying more . I bought more today at 1.99p . I am positive about the future of this Company , which is the reason I keep increasing my holding . As I have no intention of selling in the short term I would naturally be interested in opinion concerning the long term . If I remember correctly , at least thirty other posters joined `The Fun` with their predictions .
I am sure that you understand that a Year End prediction has absolutely no bearing on the current price (Perhaps you didn`t understand that.)
Posters here have enjoyed an excellent interactive thread with contributions from knowledgeable and well connected individuals . How sad it would be if you and and only a couple of other spite driven posters , spoiled the good humour and fellowship enjoyed here with your childish , disingenuous , insulting , inaccurate valueless posts . Perhaps you would be kind enough to put yourself in that `Green Box` .

After all the pain here , it really would be a pain in the A.... if Block became the victim of a bid from that `Group` clearly acting in concert while clearly avoiding falling foul of the regulators . If that lot were to organise a bid at this stage I suspect we may be gone at some bargain basement price below 10p .
Wouldn`t it be the pits to see us taken out just when the strategy is starting to deliver rewards . Of course , a bid may just provide additional opportunities in some bigger and more established entity .
Whatever ~ it`s starting to get very interesting ~ will try to buy a few more tomorrow .
