I know very little about charting and certainly do not base investment decisions on chart indications , I have always thought it is an historical picture of price movement . However , it is interesting to note how some messages are translated !
Is this one of those occasions of ` Mind The Gap` ?
I`m unsure , but I think there is a very small gap at 1.63 / 1.64 , and it is said that gaps must be filled ?
Only curious , not in the least bit worried . Of course we might dip a little further , but this sp is only going one way which will soon be seen on historical charts .
These `Gaps` must be something to do with serious investors who slept in and missed their train !

It`s very puzzling that which we have NOT got , is a valuation that reflects the positives which you list .
One day fundamentals will surely be recognised , but this daily / weekly / monthly flat lining is really boring .

If you do , I believe the rewards here could be substantial , very substantial .
Hopefully most PI`s have held their nerve and their shares during the shenanigans over the last couple of months .

I agree Streaky , but we are British and probably share a strong sense of justice and respect for the Law , BUT ~
In the USA , their `Lawmakers` in Congress and their Senate is overflowing with Lawyers , it never ceases to amaze me just how manipulative these individuals can be when manipulated for a `Quick Buck`!
Principle , The Law and Integrity would seem to be at times anything you might wish it to be .
Not everything in `The Wild West` is corrupt Courts do achieve honourable results .

Yes , your post is an excellent way of clearly defining where we SHOULD be going .

Good morning All ! Just a few observations from the other side of the Pond :
What a shame that the thread descended into a circus of insults and ridicule . I can`t think of many / any AIM shares that hve not experienced similar devastation . It comes with the territory , especially with high profile , popular shares that have seen strong gains . Disingenuous posters (usually with little history ) suddenly arrive to deramp the stock . I am convinced some are paid by finance houses to disrupt sentiment and create volatility which effects a preplanned game plan and financial gain . Some will be PI`s who missed the boat , some will be individuals wanting to adjust the value of their holding ~~~ etc , and of course some will be totally disreputable , destructive , deranged individuals .
Whatever the `Catagory` , they are easy to identify . While they will ultimately have zero influence on the final outcomes , they can influence sentiment which can unsettle some investors .
I would urged ALL genuine investors to ; NOT RESPOND !
I fully understand and share the frustrations , but interacting with these people simply compounds feelings of negativities . It also drowns out intelligent contribution and valuable information from some very well informed posters .

On the other side of the coin : We have the opportunity to `Recommend` posts , I am a supporter of that facility . We are unfortunately unable to vote down posts that we disagree with , this I think is a mistake and LSE should incorporate that facility which would provide and alternative to a verbal response .
We would now seem to have regained some poise and interestingly the detractors seem to have quietened down , all so very predicable !

Lots of news to come ~ We overshot on the way up and vice versa on the way down ~ Nothing wrong with the fundamentals ~ Not long to wait !

~ and you`re right , something`s wrong ! but ~ I think that now it`s just the MM`s exploiting the panic across the whole sector . They managed the year end Eco rises badly and now this is a classic book keeping adjustment .
This time they will make sure they profit from the uptrend , which I`m sure will start this month . Let`s hope it starts soon .

It would be a tragedy should some of those invested here are effectively forced out by `force majeure` .

What an awful day today . Unfortunately we have also had to stomach the poisonous drivel from a couple of distasteful trouble makers . What possible pleasure anyone could take from that sort of infantile behaviour is quite beyond me .

The reasons , and there are many , I think have all been aired on here now . I believe , and hope , that we have now reach the bottom of this sell off , It is just so typIcal of AIM ; stocks which capture serious attention always overshoot on the way up and then overshoot again on the way down . Without news , these gyrations are technical , we just have to live with it , or of course sell if you can`t. Those pesky MM`s love and I suspect encourage these situations .
I haven`t sold any shares , I don`t intend to , and ~ fwiw ~ I will be buying again , whatever the price around the end of next week .
Some calming statement from DP would probably be welcomed , but any positive effect may be short lived . What we need is confirmation of at least some of the promised contract deals . (Plus the end of that wretched CC.)
These indicated events will most certainly happen and as we move through the year I remain totally confident that this Company will go from strength to strength . The worst is mot likely behind us now and shareholders just need to be patient while the business starts to perform and the share price regains and exceeds its currently lost ground .

I do not wish to get into childish `Tit for Tat` .This thread has been a really excellent forum for knowledge and information sharing and despite the recent disappointment (temporary I believe .) I really do hope posters can retain our identity for quality decorum and integrity .

Having said that ; I am grateful that Fantasticdave ~ 15.06~ pointed out the blatant untruths posted by Mr C Brown about CNN . I was about to post a similar correction to that dishonest fabrication .
In fact , I don`t feel I can let that misleading and dishonest statement pass without comment :

Perhaps you have to live in the USA to truly understand the current politics and the anger created by self interest and political hysteria . This is a Society that has become so dangerously divided particularly over the last five years , perhaps even dangerously unstable . Endemic problems of racism and poverty have been exaggerated and driven by a few wealthy influential political individuals , a Constitution that needs a radical overhaul , self interested lobbyists , crazy gun laws , a bunch Q lunatics , fanatical Religious bigots , a mass of uneducated hate filled individuals , and SPECIFICALLY by a daily commentary of shameless lies in support of these factions from ~~~ FOX News .
THAT is a FACT .

I think those of us who rate the extraordinary potential here , those of us who have not sold , those of us who intend to hold and increase our shareholding this year can now fully understand most of what has been happening which has caused such a dramatic turn round in the value of our holdings .
Yes , it is disappointing and it is frustrating that news `Appears` to be slow in translating thoughts and hopes into facts and irritating that such an opportunistic CC is taking so long to be dismissed . These current frustrations will most definitely pass news will flow , contracts will be confirmed , plant will be completed and I believe we will sign with a world class JV partner even if that partner turns out to be some one other than Wood Grp . We all want these transformational events next week but in truth events of such magnitude do and will take time . The important issue is to recognise the huge new opportunities in this sector and particularly with this Company , and build your investment stake at the begining of this development not halfway through the growth phase . I have looked at the alternative `Greenies` , but I remain totally committed to EQT as I think this Company represents by far the best investment case . Far too risky to hope to time your entry just before we move back on up .
Fwiw ~ I expect we will be back around the 3p mark by the begining of May , but the Year end could prove to be very exciting !

Some people should read their posts before whimpering .
Some people need paternal assistance as well as financial assistance .
Some of these people could not even wait for the weekend .
Some people have a dishonest agenda .
Some people should be banned from posting disingenuous , disruptive posts .
Some people should never go into the kitchen .
Some people present themselves as just plain ignorant .

I do not use the filter and I am not concerned by that which some people post .

I expect many of these same people to be signing from the next hymn sheet as soon as the transformational news drops and the tide turns .
