I`m not going to argue the point you make , but I am going to point out that there are very serious consequences to this format of `internet fed herd gambling `. Often those promoting `Get Rich Quick` wonder stocks are crusty old Duffers who have been deceiving the gullible and naive for years .
There are examples of disasters every day .

I`m amazed that we have , so far , attracted limited exposure .
Clearly there is so much activity bubbling in the background that it would not surprise me to see this suddenly shoot up as the investing community witness a Damascus moment this year !

I note that the suggested 1.5p subscription price seems to have evaporated , I`m not surprised by that and whatever transpires buying at a future fund raise is surely going to cost more . The higher the price , the more advantageous for the business , and fewer shares will be issued .
I see that there are about 50 shareholders who would wish to subscribe to a rights issue , I suspect that the appetite for `cheap` shares (1.5p) will decline in relation to any increase in price for this notional issue. For example ; would someone remain committed to buying 1 million shares at 2.5p ? I suspect not , and even though people buying fewer but paying more `might` raise the same amount , I believe that the Company would be better served by professionals who will guarantee the required level of funding . This will mean that the Company knows that they can immediately commit to their planned strategy
I do not think this fixation with funding is helpful in advancing investment here , we may or may not require additional liquidity , we certainly have no idea when we may need it or for what purpose it will be required .
Two other points worth remembering ;
Not all fund raising is capital depletive . While there may be dilution , dependent on the proposal a cash raise can be hugely value enhancing , particularly for an enterprise such as this .
If a fund raise were to follow `The usual pattern` , the share price will likely retrace to the raise price and shareholders will almost certainly have the opportunity to buy at whatever that issue price .
Remember also ; DP is an experienced professional in corporate finance , his personal fortune is closely allied with the success of this business .
I believe that he will act in the interests of his shareholders .

As you will have noted from my posts , I see your proposal in a different light .
I don`t know where this suggested 1.5p came from , but there is absolutely no suggestion from official sources that this might be occur . On the other hand we do know why the SP dipped back down below 1.5p . Of course now that JH have completed their business deal , we are the beneficiaries with an enhanced balance sheet . I saw a shocking `Paper Loss` as we went through this transition , I did buy more shares which spoiled my average price , but now I see my investment shooting back up again . All absolutely typical of investing in a growth Company in the AIM market which requires capital inputs to grow their business to profitability . Finance houses , much as we may dislike their tactics and activity are the catalyst that make the market work . Private investors do not have the funds , the expertise or the ability to stomach the risks involved .
Fwiw ~ Comparing EQT to other companies carries little credibility for me . I think your confidence in the commItment determination and reliability of PI`s to service Capital requirements is misplaced , and ; I think you do thIs Company and DP a disservice buy proposing `A better mousetrap` .
Anyway , good luck with your idea . I am confident that EQT will advance significantly what ever the outcome .

I should have made clear that my comment was in response to both aandi posts ; 13.10 and 14.10 .
I am in a similar position and totally agree with both of his posts .
My strategy is simply to continue to buy when I can . I have every faith in the efficacy of this business , the integrity and talent that DP brings to it . I am convinced that there will be very big developments as we move through the year . Unless you are very wealthy and intend to take a position in excess of 3% dilution should not be a serious issue when viewed ultimately against future progress and advancement in Market Cap .

As the share price advances this 1.5p recedes .
Would those wishing to buy at at 1.5p be as committed to the same volume at say 2p .
Nota Bene :
Post Fund or Cash raise , the share price almost ALWAYS drifts back to the placing price providing the opportunity for those who wish to avoid dilution .
Imo : I don`t think DP would wish to disadvantage his loyal shareholder base .

Many thanks for the heads up in your posts . I must say that it puts quite a lot of information hitherto not divulged in open forum (At least for me .) It`s a shocking reveal regarding Scirocco but so very typical of the worst sort of shenanigans that is rampant across the unregulated AIM market . Your posts certainly shed light on some of the unknowns here , possibly the extraordinary share price , the delays in information updates , and the disconnect between real progress and the lowly market cap .
Assuming that your facts are absolutely correct and I have no doubt at all to question them , it explains so much . Not least perhaps , just how undervalued BLOE might be and why the `Concert Party` might be so keen to take control .
As you say : `Better the Devil you know `, but in this case , our Devil may just turn out to be an Angel when flow rates are confirmed and results are published in a few weeks time . There`s nothing like a strong balance sheet , growing Company and surging share price to deter a predator !

Ok ~ A few thoughts ;
The very large drop from around 2.35 , trade volume have slowed dramatically over the last few days , and a further slowing decline today suggests that JH are in fact either out or have completed their sales program .
Just because we have a new broker does not mean that a CR is on the immediate horizon .
On the other hand , limitations on share issue means that 4.5M would be small fry to a professional investor or II wishing to take a position in this business .
From an investors perspective , what a stroke of luck to be able to take a position at these prices .
Interestingly , a position could be opened without triggering the 3% TR1 declaration requirement .
Dilution of that magnitude should have little effect on the sp , on the contrary it would have some beneficial effect on the market cap , AND , if designated for a specific purpose , ( Such as closing a deal or advancing a particular project toward closure ) then such a fund raise would likely be viewed as value accretive .
If there is a TR1 with an accompanied statement regarding a project development or completion , I expect the sp to shoot up .
Then there is the question of what has been going on with all these projects since the begining of the year ?
Now that we are free of the CC , I would not be surprised to find the brakes are off regarding closure on some projects , or , perhaps the requirement to partnership fund a specific venture , which may require addition liquidity .

On the purely speculative side ; I wonder if some fund raise / placing is already being transacted . Is Canada , with a similar environmental scenario to North Fork , yet another new project opportunity that has been or is being negotiated ?
It wouldn`t be hard to join the dots , but we will have to wait and see .

We are in the bottom of this sp cycle . I think all the negatives are already out there . The positives (and there are so many ) are awaiting confirmation and conclusion . The next few days and weeks should see a dramatic reversal in the sp ~ BUT ~

Thinking about the negatives , I would argue that they are not up to date and are probably misleading , so addressing the `Fails` , I would make the following observations :

Are revenue and earnings forecast to grow?
Earnings have declined by 29.1% per year over past 5 years .
~~~~ Five years ago EQT were very much in the unknown / uninteresting category . Only in the past year has the spotlight fallen on Green Companies . A five year retro view is misleading in this case .
DP has stated that profitability will grow this year and exponentially over the next three years .

Is their share price liquid and stable?
Highly volatile share price over the past 3 months .
~~~~~ Absolutely to be expected given that JH have been selling the equity provided in the Fund Raise. Other factors have also contributed to the sp decline over the last couple of months , eg : Court Case , Tax Year , Profit consolidation amongst early entry PI`s from .005 p to .01p , Delays in finalising contracts / C19 implications , Delay in Wood Group / Partnership arrangements ...etc .

Fail
Have shareholders been diluted over the past year?
Shareholders have been substantially diluted in the past year .
~~~~~ Yes , we are aware , But the fund raise has provided capital required to develop the business . We have already seen some positive consequences , we will benefit from our strong cash position over the coming months .

Has there been substantial insider selling in the past 3 months?
Significant insider selling over the past 3 months .
~~~~ We know JH have been selling their holding , however we have to acknowledge that they have provided around a year of capital liquidity . That`s what happens post fund raise .

Do they have meaningful levels of revenue?
Does not have meaningful revenue (€896K)
~~~~~ Revenue is forecast to increase this year . External factors impact an accurate update , particularly C19 implications .
DP is supremely confident of progress in the coming months .

I`m therefore going to give all those `Fails` a PASS , Because the author is simply not up to speed !
Which probably confirms the stellar potential in this Company . imvho :)

Hi Sea7 : I agree , I think this is one of the primary reasons for the decline / stagnant share price .
A lot of portfolio readjustment goes on at this time of year . I posted something similar regarding the exact same frustrations occurring in another company in which I am interested .
In this case I can`t see employees and contractors who have been paid in stock to be selling out . If you had contracted to work for someone , even in these Covid troubled times , would you offer to do the work for a 40 % Discount ?
Pointless to release news at the moment , I would expect a share price recovery during April when I`m sure they will have something positive to say about Gas , revenue and future drilling .

Fwiw ~ Some biggish sales going through , I suspect that JH might still be actively selling down but the driver here is probably the new tax year only eleven days days away . There are a lot of PI`s sitting on very big gains from the .005/ .01p level . The total volume is not that exciting which again suggests that buying may be deferred for the new tax year .
All especially frustrating when there has been and will be so much transformational news .
Looking to history we know this can change in the blink of an eye ~ and it probably will .
