You`re right HM also all fine by me but no doubt there`ll be some who will moan about further delays .
On the other hand there will be others who will most certainly regard this as a `Last chance to buy` opportunity .
The conclusion to all this could still be spectacular ~ fingers crossed !

Ok , as we seem to have crossed the required report date , I`m now starting to speculate as to why that may be .
I wonder if the two events are inexorably linked . Could the negotiations for the conventional have extended into the HRZ , or even some negotiation for the major part of 88e`s portfolio leaving us with just some fringe interests , perhaps even an agreed arrangement to acquire the whole ? If one of these possibilities were in play , there might no requirement to publish Q2 which would effectively be redundant and totally misleading . DW has in the past always been forth coming with timely information and updates ~ until ~ we signed up with our preferred bidder . Who ever it is would seem to be firmly in control , I am certain DW would speak if he could but , IF negotiations were not going our way , I also think DW would pull the plug and look to one of the alternative suitors . Time will start to impact on our declared strategy for the balance of 2019 , and our stated drill plans for next year so I imagine some information will have to break cover soon .
I just don`t know , it`s all a complete mystery , but I remain increasingly hopeful that these delays will ultimately be to our benefit !

I hear you loud and clear Phrontist ~~~ BUT ~~~ this is AIM and in my experience just about anything goes and any `Rules` are regularly ignored with few if any consequences !
I really do hope we at least get the Q2 report , but that`s not what we are all waiting for and there must be some very serious reasons why these events are running so close to the wire .
FWIW , I think the reasons will ultimately prove to be positive and the wait worthwhile , but I`m not building my hopes up for tonight !
It will just suddenly all become visible ~ sometime . Sometime very soon I hope !

Consolidation will of course also be costly for PI`s (perhaps -10% ish)
I think , and have often stated , that the Company would be far better served with a new CEO . Just sidetrack Prelea into some consultancy / advisory capacity . He`s been a diasaster ! While you`re at it give Mr `Spiral`Moritz his p45 . He`s well past his sell by date ~ imo .
However the cookie crumbles for a positive finance outcome , it`s going to be a very long haul .
August might just be a (another) watershed . GL .

I have to say that if you feel that way , you must be very confident that this will eventually come good , that your purchase was somewhat immaterial and you just wanted to reduce your average , or you are a very brave gambler !

For clarification , in case anyone imagines that post was some twisted deramp ; I have not sold a single share , I am slightly underwater , I bought yesterday and today , I intend to continue buying as and when I can !

Unfortunately this is also a confusing statement with implied or suggested outcomes .
There is only one satisfactory outcome for this current confusion, disaffection and disconnect ;
The Company must state clearly , honestly with absolutely no room for interpretation or confusion , exactly what the current position is with well 16 . Only facts will be acceptable .
Whatever the truth this has been a PR disaster , compounded by the Minton issue the confusion surrounding flow rates , production , gas and storage has created huge negative sentiment and it must be satisfactorily resolved .
Good , bad or indifferent , the market and investors deserve and demand the truth . ASAP .
Future plans are a different issue , they have not impacted the current debacle and can probably wait until those details have been finalised .

Miton have obviously been the major seller here . They don`t have to refund their investors claims until 15th August , so prior to that point they will have to accumulate sufficient funds in their accounts . They will no doubt need some time to organise the administration and refund papers etc . I would imagine that if not already finished one more week should see them out. Now whether they decide to be 100% out or not is unknown , however if they do sell out completely , I think they will have register Zero holding . Of course the confusion over Flow rates in the RNS , and the retail investors shock reaction has just compounded the negative sentiment . This is a big drop from 17p , and there will have been quite a few PI`s who have panicked and sold . BUT : II `s were happy to cough up 12m at 11p , that money is in Block`s Bank , we are waiting to see how the well is cleaning up and flow rates are certainly likely to increase , 38 is about to spud (analogous to 16 ), We are waiting to see the out come of Gas negotiations and of course there is a very exciting development plan scheduled for the balance of the year . I accept that PH certainly messed up some of the communication and PR , but I`m not sending him to the Cross just yet .
Clearly there is a lot going on and as far as I can see it would seem to be a very positive story going forward .
I bought a few more today and intend to further increase my holding when I can .
Anyway just a few of my thoughts , with a bit of luck we could see this turn back up as quickly as it turned down .
