If the deal is as poor as you suggest it could be , I think there will be a lot of VERY disappointed LTI here and even more short termers who will possibly just shut up shop . DW will be acutely aware of these issues and I just can`t believe that he would be so easily satisfied with that level of out come from his `Preferred Bidder` .

musing that if a FO deal is announced with even the very basic immediate benefits to 88e , I would expect the sp to rise by at least 1p. If the deal is spectacular leaving 88e with an interest of c. 30% plus some serious cash value which allows 88e to progress their other interests , then perhaps the sp will rise some 2p/3p . SP rises exceeding 100% in one day are rare on AIM , and as nobody has a clue as to what IS going on I imagine that the MM`s simply err on the hyper cautious side . With the recent poor history I suppose that works out at 1p . I can`t remember a share that has been so well `Managed` over such a long period of hope and expectation and can just imagine what might happen if somebody got wind of exactly what was going on behind the scenes ! Full credit to DW and the Farminee for keeping the lid on this .

Nobody seems to have explained , satisfactorily , how these `Assets` were procured `On the Cheap` .

Why would they sign off the deal if any issues had not been thoroughly checked and cleared ?
Did they need to do that to allow what effectively seems to be a 500k bridging loan to be released , which enables 88e to push on with some operational plans ?

I suppose that is 31st , but I really hope it`s sooner .

Dodge : but that`s the whole point , AP will still have his 10%+ whether he or somebody else is managing VAST`s destiny .
FWIW , I think , it is in AP`s interests to get BP as close to , if not operational , certainly as near to as possible as quickly as he can . I`m sure He will want to remain in the driving seat , but unless he gets this finance sorted PDQ , he really will be running out of options , certainly options that would be acceptable to shareholders .
You really must be seriously confident to take on more of these shares , imo .

Torham ~~~ I know the Borders and Edinburgh , very well . I used to travel through Waverley at the begining and end of every school term :( . So much seems to have changed and not always for the better , but the Borders are beautiful and still , I believe largely unspoiled . Have they fixed the chaotic Edinburgh transport system and all the pot holes in the roads yet ?
