I thought the `Top Dog` on here was a rabid Chihuahua called Sukit .

Correct 2pence , good summary . Nobody has a clue what these assets are really worth .
1. If the SRK report is positive , release ASAP , the share price will surely react positively .
2. If the SRK report is mediocre , keep it under wraps until such time whatever finance deal can be negotiated .
3. If the SRK report is rubbish , fingers crossed nobody finds out .

As we seem to be trailing weed ~ AGAIN ~ I suspect it can`t be 1.
Why and How did Prelea get these `priceless` assets ~ `On the cheap` ?

Dodge ~~~ I`m assuming you are invested again here and have considered the likely risks , so if your expectations do materialise , have you calculated the likely affect this will have on the Mkt cap ?
While finance would be a positive , it will have an associated cost . Leaving aside the Diamond gamble , everything really seems to hinge on SRK and the `Real` value of BP and the Romanian assets . In that context I keep asking the question :
Why and How did Prelea pick these up so cheaply ?
Perhaps the Romanians had a `Gordon Gold` moment and just needed a bit of short term cash to pay their overweight bureaucratic empire , or perhaps they knew all along the assets were effectively worthless when taking into account the magnitude of funding required to extract any profit from them .
I have no idea what value to attach to them , that`s why I think this is a doubly serious gamble and that`s why I ask you the question .

You`re absolutely right Bladey , I`m surprised that people who invest in an oil Company don`t seem to appreciate why and what is involved in the well `Clean up` process . A lot of the volatility seems to be caused by short term speculation and gambling . I have every confidence that by the autumn things will look very different here .

Block Energy brings impressive 16aZ well into production at West Rustavi

“With the resumption of production at well 16aZ our fully-funded back-to-back multi-well drilling programme continues to gather momentum,” Paul Haywood said.

Block Energy PLC (LON:BLOE) told investors that production has now resumed at the West Rustavi field, with the impressive 16aZ well now coming online.

Drilled and tested earlier this year the well caught the attention of investors as it delivered test production rates of around 1,100 barrels per day – which was more than three times greater than expected.

The well has now come online at an initial rate of 360 barrels oil equivalent per day – comprising 295 barrels of oil and 390,000 cubic feet of gas – it remains in the ‘clean up’ phase to recover lost drilling fluid and the rate will be gradually increased over time to establish a sustainable flow rate.

At the same time, Block is now preparing for horizontal drilling in the 38z well, which is seen as analogous to 16aZ. It will be one of four side track wells planned in Block’s 2019/2020 drill programme.

"We are pleased to resume production at well 16aZ and look forward to establishing with due caution a stable production rate for our best performing well to date. The Well produced exceptional test rates earlier this year and offers excellent netbacks of $35/bbl at $65/bbl Brent," said Paul Haywood, Block chief executive.

“With the resumption of production at well 16aZ our fully-funded back-to-back multi-well drilling programme continues to gather momentum.”

Haywood added: “We now keenly anticipate ramping up production with the sidetracking this summer of well 16aZ's neighbouring well, 38Z.

“Three of West Rustavi's other wells will also be sidetracked in the Middle Eocene structure, and two of them tested for their historic gas discoveries in the Lower Eocene.”

The Block boss also highlighted that an upcoming 3D seismic programme aims to identify optimal locations for wholly new horizontal wells across the West Rustavi field.

Agreed CLR . I hope a very different picture in a few weeks . I understand his enthusiasm , but PH has unfortunately demonstrated some youthful inexperience and naivety by overpromising and underdelivering , He needs to get a more accurate grip on timescales and ignore the white noise from those who want immediate action and results .
I don`t think the slippage has been helped by the Miton issue , but surely that is all behind us now although I would have thought a statement of zero holdings might be forthcoming , but of course they may still be holding a small position here which they do not have to report .
I`m still expecting news on other possible activities and how the 12M war chest might be utilised . Effectively debt free , with a growing revenue stream is a very comfortable position to be in and unusual for an AIM Company .
A disappointment today , but when the well is clean , when we have regularised flow , and the 38 is underway , I hope / believe this will show as just a minor blip on our progress and future development . Also ~~~ great opportunity to either get in or lower your average , but that`s just my opinion .

If it were not for the implied profanities and vulgar tenor your post it presents an alternative interesting opinion , however , reading it from the perspective of a disgruntled investor your observations and criticisms could equally be applied to yourself .
You should know , as Captain of your little boat , that the CEO of any Company should and usually does carry the responsibility for failure as well as success .
`As famous as your last act` implies , there are demonstrable failures here , but as the Fat Lady still has to sing , there is possibly an opportunity for you , and a few others who recently bought shares , to exit with some capital intact .
As we are all simply expressing our opinions on these discussion boards , I wouldn`t leave it too long because judging form recent history , plan B hardly looks `Copper Bottomed`.

Bottom line I suppose there is effectively , very little hope .
Unfortunately , all parties carry some responsibility , shareholders , Slovenian Government , AST Directors and specifically Colin Hutchison . Impossible then to attribute blame .
Not surprisingly the British Embassy have kept their heads down .
I know from experience it can be very tricky working in this part of Europe , where there still exists a strong affinity toward the old Soviet days .

FWIW ~ I think it is more likely to be forward selling of shares that as yet we do not know about and may have been issued against some sort of cash raise . After all that is what history would dictate happens here .

A rising price on increasing volume is often the harbinger of positive developments .

If you thought posts inaccurately criticised yours , or others` statements , you have the right and the freedom to refute or correct .
However when people such as yourself make stupid , unsubstantiated ramping statements glorifying a company with an appalling record of shareholder wealth destruction and teetering on the brink of insolvency , you must expect that you will be ridiculed . For example ; by comparing Vast`s share issue to that of Glencore , or stating that : "Hard to get attention for certain types of finance when the amount is so small." .
Your attitude is hypocritical , I would say that it is you who posts sneering comments at those who do not share your rose tinted views of Prelea , his performance and the soon to be delivered multibag reward as result of finance being delivered , BP operational , and diamonds being converted to some extraordinary unstoppable revenue stream .
