There is a good chance DCCAE will post the permit info on their website when it issues, pre-empting an RNS. But they might post it afer the market has closed. News on the money will come very quickly thereafter.

BTW I see the two big sells from yesterday have now been cancelled. Weird.

To be fair to Chamberlain, at that time Germany were fully prepared for, and ready to go to, war. Britain would have fallen much like the rest of Europe. The breathing space Chamberlain bought was absolutely critical. Hitler himself said "I ought to have seized the initiative in 1938, instead of allowing myself to be forced into war in 1939". Whatever Chamberlain's motives, and he was deeply scarred by WW1, if he hadn't made Hitler pause for a year, we would not live in a deeply anti-semitic Europe run by and for Germany. Ok, ok, but it would be more unpleasant than it is now.

They didn't buy the Rockhopper Egyptian assets - I don't know if they bid, but I'm glad they didn't. PW seemed obsessed with turning SDX into a $1bn company, and the only way he was going to do that was through acquisition. I don't know what would have happened if the BP assets had been acquired, but PW was not able to pull that off. As Mr B said, we have plenty to concentrate on internally. And I hope we can return to beng a £100m company.

I do see where you are comng from RB, and I'm sure many short term traders would be very happy if this hit 4p, and probably bail out. But I honestly don't think most of the 660m shares got bought last week. Logp is volatile on relatively small margin though. Good to see the last trade of the day was 2.48, wth solid buying late on.

Far more buys than sells at PVR. Anyway, I'd rather people were bailing here now than after the permit and cash RNSs.

I can only say, there were people selling their JOG shares this time yesterday.

There are 665m shares in issue, but the actual free float is miniscule.

With a positive appropriate assessment determination the permit is essentially in the bag. And would DCCAE have issued it if they had doubts about the funding to take this project forward? Doubtful. So anyone selling now would be bailing before two practically nailed on transformational bits of news. Crazy.

I think DCCAE are certain the funds will arrive very shortly now.
