Actually I was being sarcastic. I come from a farming family, and have seen many small farmers ruined. The potato merchant is a complete crook, and it's a true story. CAP is a fecking disgrace, constructed by France to provide perpetual war reparations from Germany, now heavily funded by the UK. Reason enough just by itself to leave the EU. And there are plenty of others. I live in the UK. And I voted to leave.

It's nt even clear just how the EU presidents do get elected, but it certainly ain't a democratic mandate. You might find these thumbnail sketches of the new appointees interesting.

The EU is still great though, if you know how to play the system. I know a small time potato merchant who managed to buy multiple farms through some opaque EU funding he got from dealing in potatoes, and he says the EU is the best thing since sliced bread.

I'm not in despair, and largely agree with Manyana. But I do seem to find myself grinding my teeth at the incredible, and incredibly slow, regulatory red tape surrounding this. It can't be like this in Russia or the Middle east. So long as they get their tax cut when its pumping.

No one knows whether DCCAE will grant the permit, although I think the balance of probability is that they will. And no one knows if APEC will stump up. Although I think they will, but only when the permit has issued. So I'm staying in. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, and I'll take the loss on the chin and move on. There's no point waving the shroud. We're not quite in the same category as MTFB. We have production, income, and no debt. We have though had wildly over-optimistic forecasts of future production growth. I think the market has lost a lot of confidence here. So getting South Disouq into production is critical. The margin may not be so great, but the volume is good, and it will be a big step change in our revenue stream when it happens. I think a revised strategic approach would be welcome too. Presumably in Morocco we already have enough gas shut in to meet an increase in demand, so it might be worth pausing further drilling there. Although if we have already contracted equipment to do the drills that may not be cost effective. But getting more customers signed up must surely be a priority. And sell South Ramadan. I doubt we can afford our share of development costs.

Malcy's been oretty consistently wrong about everything for the last couple of years, so I'm quite reassured by this. They would be insane to do a placing at this level. A large 455k sell has been late reported. And a 100k buy was late reported as being cancelled. So there was a large sell being worked which pushed the price down.

I do wonder why, if SDX can't sell it's Moroccan gas through its own pipeline, it doesn't start bottling the stuff and selling to the internal market.

Given the good news and healthy buying I can only conclude the the share price direction indicates some big selling in the background. Which seems to have been going on intermittently for the last two years. Without TR1s being filed. Really annoying.
