It might be easier to gauge later, but I think this is trader churn, with peeps chasing today’s hot stocks. Given that news could drop any time here, let’s see if money starts coming back in later on towards close, just in case there’s a 7am RNS tomorrow.

When design freeze comes, we will relate sharply.

When production ramps up, another rerate.
When we start reporting sales figures rerate yet again.

It is L&G’s responsibility to inform the company if a TR1 needs to be released. And I think that the threshold crossing update can be deferred if a large trade is being executed over say several days or weeks. Look at the total volume compared to reported buys and sells. There is a large discrepancy, suggesting that a large trade is being executed in the background, bit by bit. And a sell obviously by the price action. I think L&G are still selling down. And I’ve seen a lot of very poor adherence to TR1 rules, and never heard of anyone being sanctioned for it. I

Expect a long-term emphasis by government on strategic manufacturing supplies being prioritised for domestic production.

Makes this one of the safest covid stocks imo, along with NCYT, but with greater upside potential.

Does anyone seriously trade on Doc’s advice? I doubt even Doc does - he’ll be selling when he’s ramping hardest. And probably bought in on Friday having been talking it down hard.

It is not unreasonable to point out where AVCT’s market cap has got to. I appreciate they have other irons in the fire, but their rise has been based on their COVID test. They are further down the development path than BRH, so deserve a higher market cap. However their market cap is around 25 times higher than ours, which suggests we are undervalued. It’s not a competition in my view, this brand new market for COVID tests Is staggeringly huge, and will be around for a few years. And governments will regard life science companies as strategically essential going forward. They are out of their obscure shadows for good now.

Buying pressure looks clear. As leansniper says, there aren’t many shares in this one. If the seller is done, there is no obvious source of shares for the MMs to sell unless they lift the price to find people willing to sell to them. Think it’s going to be a good week here. I hope the6 don’t release any news until the sp has recovered to mid 40s. At least.

It is exceptionally difficult to correctly value COVID stocks right now. But the one bit of data we do have is that Novacyt - who are making and selling a test now - have seen their sales rise to £90m In jus5 a few months. Boris’s speech tonight is clear that hundreds of thousands of tests every week will be needed for the foreseeable. More, I reckon, to get lockdown fully lifted. And that’s just in this country. The market for this brand new product Is absolutely colossal.

When I see Doc’s doomcasts I am reminded of Blue Diamond’s twitter pronouncement that he had gone short a Novacyt. At 40p. Lol. The trouble with being a stockpicker and influencer is you can’t call it right every time.

There has also been enormous volume over the past couple of weeks. It’s hard to see where further huge volumes of sells might come from beyond very short term traders looking for 10%. But we’ll see over this coming week. GLA
