Fcm don’t appear to have confirmed what additional meterage has been drilled over and above the planned 700m. As such, and as risk factors would come very much into play in a ‘first pass’, I would argue not more than between 50 to 100m.

A 10 hole average at best therefore would give us around 75 to 80 metres actual length for each, with true depth obviously less with how much so depending on angle of entry (variously -70 to -45 ).

A 80m hole at -70 entry for example would give true depth of X = 80 x sine 70 which is 80 x 0.9397 for 75.18 m.

The same meterage of 80 but at -45 would give a shallower 55.57m. Both are decent depths for a ‘near surface’ maiden drill programme.

Charting confirms that Fcm have drilled along trend from East to West. Early holes #1, #2 , #3 and #4 were drilled in the vicinity of the 19.6 g/t outcrop sample, with #5 and #6 adjacent to the south east corner of Dead Otter Lake some 2 km’s distant.

The final #7 to #10 have been drilled around the Dead Otter Showing at 3.1 g/t to the south of the western side of DOL.

This means that they have drilled a linear length of circa 3.5 km’s on a sub 1000m pilot drill programme! That’s a great result in itself!

……..and EVERY drill core shows potential mineralisation!

The potential at North Hemlo could be very significant. Pity they couldn’t have sneaked just one cheeky assay out of Actlabs pre Christmas!!

The potential significance of this should not be lost. I haven’t yet plotted all 10 drill locations (and haven’t yet seen any updated position map from Fcm) but even just the early holes were over 2 and a half kilometres apart!!

Drilling restarted last week after a temporary cessation just after NH_25_09. In the RNS (now 11 days ago) Fcm confirmed that the intention was to recommence drilling last week to complete the planned programme before Christmas. We know already that they were talking about ‘surpassing’ the planned meterage (700m). They should be pretty much finished in the next day or two if not already?

Fcm confirmed that “ the geological features observed to date reinforce our confidence in the Dead Otter trend as a compelling gold target within the North Hemlo Project. We look forward to receiving the first assay results in the New Year”.

So, whilst no assays yet (200 samples have already gone to Actlabs), the team are clearly liking what they see in the core. The terminology used suggests a pretty high degree of confidence in what the lab analysis might show.

In addition, although this is a pilot or ‘first pass’ drill programme, I am especially pleased to see that they have the confidence to exceed the meterage before any assays are received confirming that they are positive for au. Again, this tends to reaffirm that high degree of confidence, as dd drilling at even near surface is a costly exercise especially in the relatively high risk world of a first or maiden drill programme on a project area.

Can’t wait for first results.

I may be misreading your post, and apols if so, but if you are saying that 13p is now unreachable, at a time when we may well have a gold discovery, and in close proximity to the new set up at Hemlo, I would suggest you think again.

Does anyone know if Fcm have yet put out an updated chart showing locations of NH_25_07 to NH_25_09 (or 10?)

Further to The Sunday Roast interview, we really have to consider the potential outcomes for Fcm just now.

Zig Zag….Spodumene up again overnight to $1320. That’s a rise of over 100 per cent in the last few months. Li shortfall now predicted for 2026 rather than 2028. Second Li trend confirmed and third suspected. ZZ could very well come back into play a lot sooner than expected.

The asset sale and tokenisation LOI’s were confirmed in i/v as still very much in play. A successful outcome for either of these would be superb; both would blow the doors off!

North Hemlo drilling has restarted. From what we can see, most if not all, of the holes drilled so far appear very promising. A quick scan of the trend map shoes that there must be almost 3 and a half kilometres between NH-25-01 and 02 to the east, and NH-25-06 to the west. If both extremes shows gold in assay then there is the potential for a gold strike length of at least that length. This would be way bigger in linear distance than the Hemlo Gold mine now belonging to the newly created Hemlo Mining Corporation who will, I have no doubt, be all over our NH activities like a rash. This could be absolutely huge!

And then Sunbeam. District scale potential and results due but not even scratched the surface. LOI success and you can bet MS will be hitting SB with everything he can!

Excitement definitely returning here.

Still trying to wrap my head around Artificial Intelligence and its capabilities and accuracies but that is quite an interesting series of AI comment and conclusions.

The two standouts for me are:

“This is no longer “upper, weakly sulphidic Hemlo-style” — this moves into the range of potentially fertile mineralised corridors.”

And

“The scale and intensity of the features suggest a robust mineralised system, not a small vein occurrence.”

Hemlo Mining Corp. (HMMC) is a newly formed Canadian mid-tier gold producer, emerging from Carcetti Capital Corp., that recently acquired the major Hemlo Gold Mine in Ontario from Barrick Gold for up to $1.1 billion. This major acquisition closed in late 2025, making Hemlo Mining Corp. the operator of this long-producing, fully integrated gold mine, with significant financing from Wheaton Precious Metals and Orion Mine Finance, and listing on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV).

If you read the statement of intent issued by HMC, we must presume that they are keeping a very close watch on what is unfolding along the Dead Otter Trend!!

It seems that drilling was temporarily halted after the conclusion of #9 due to a combination of factors, but is to recommence next week. The wording indicates that they are seeing very promising core leading to a decision to ‘advance’ the drilling along trend, and that they now plan to surpass the planned 700m although not clear to what extent.

“geological features observed to date reinforce our confidence in the Dead Otter trend as a compelling gold target within the North Hemlo Project”.

They sound particularly confident in how things are progressing. It does sound as if there is a significant chance that we have hit a gold hosting structure.

There is little doubt in my mind that the drilling programme must now be complete. With short scout programmes they tend to be over before the first core sample have reached the lab. This is presuming that a decision has been made not to significantly extend the circa 700 metres planned.

So the final cores will be transported, cleaned and cut, and then all off to Actlabs. (Unless an earlier partial submission has already been made).

MS seemed pretty happy about things at the conference last week so honestly can’t wait for assays which I guess will be early new year as so close to Christmas now.

Not see that video yet, but if #9 is done, and depending as always on mobility, then we could well be on at least #10 by now.

A 75m hole at say 60 degrees angle of inclination would give true depth as 75 x Cosine 60. Cos 60 = 0.5, so true depth is 75 x 0. 5 so 37.5m. I have used 60 degrees from a visual on that drill image they showed us. It wasn’t straight vertical at 90, nor did it appear at 45 degrees which would have been shallower for a 75m hole so I am guessing on 60 degrees.

I doubt they would want to go shallower, and 700m limits total meterage so I reckon your 75 m actual length is about right. 10 holes would make it 750m so unless they have decided to extend campaign pre-assay, which I doubt, the drilling must be finished by tomorrow or perhaps Saturday.

Just reading Junior Mining Network article. Relevance to Fcm is that Hemlo Mining Corp. (previously Carcetti Capital Corp.) recently closed the acquisition of the Hemlo Gold Mine in Ontario, Canada from Barrick Mining Corp. for aggregate consideration of approximately US$1.1 billion.

It seems that HMC is looking to establish itself “as a leading Canadian mid-tier growth-focused gold producer, with an immediate focus on maximizing the value of the Hemlo Gold Mine's existing infrastructure through a fit-for-purpose operating approach, while unlocking new opportunities through an aggressive brownfields exploration.”

The timing for us could be absolutely perfect.

If either, or dare I say, both, of those LOI’s comes off Chuteless, we will be in a very different place at Fcm. They are clearly quite bullish about what they are seeing at NH, and so if this small pilot drill comes up trumps, they will want to push on as soon as able from a meteorological pov. People often make the mistake of thinking initial drilling is straightforward. Nothing could be further from the truth, and that is why a positive result would be so significant for us. Cash and a confirmed gold discovery and this would rerate massively.

Just hope that Actlabs can turn us around quickly; especially if core is being delivered in stages.
