Great to visit Fcm at Ribchester today for the AGM with Marc, James and the rest of the team. Met with the usual courtesy and professionalism, and, following the formal part of the process, witnessed a very informative meeting based largely around the market update (RNS) also released today.

The main takeaway for me was the general vibe of the meeting. I didn’t quite know what to expect after the trials and tribulations of the past few months so it was great to witness the positivity. Obvious was the fact that this was not simply an act for the benefit of attendees, but clearly an air of general excitement about the era we are about to enter in terms of defined exploration concentrating on the key gold projects. And they do seem particularly excited about the potential both at SB and NH.

They are pleased with the recent funding exercise and seem, at least to me, to be pretty confident on the outcome of the potential asset sale although that was an area on which not much more could be discussed for obvious reasons. Fcm used the word ‘material’ in the relevant market update, and this usually applies only if a transaction is significant enough to impact on a company’s financial statements. Good reason to be excited.

‘Eureka’ may well come to be the buzzword for Fcm 2025.

It does seem that way unfortunately. Shame though even though I get it is business. I am a goldie unfortunately and the au potential at ‘Golden Metals’ was what attracted me in the first place rather than purely the Tungsten .

I know its eyes on Pilot but its Garfield that grabs me. I really hope they don’t get shut of it, even for a decent price. I reckon we would come to regret such a move.

Just placed two orders with ii in last hour as couldn’t get a buy quote. Both went through quickly. (Last two trades for about 1500 quid).

It is you are (or you’re) alive and healthy, not your (as in belonging to) and health when you require an adjective.

On the same issue, it is you are (you’re) invested in etc.

As for this being a ‘great country’ after years and years of Tory and now Labour ruination, I really have to question ‘your’ (get it?) credibility.

I took the view from that RNS that they are looking for a joint venture partner to develop Gar, rather than ‘offload’ whilst ensuring that whatever form of venture is entered into, it will be in the interests of us shareholders. I am not being naive about this, but realistic. We are not, in my opinion, any sort of beggar here so would be flabbergasted if any terms eventually agreed to were unfavourable.

I know we have been waiting on word about these grants (I think the applications went in 11 years ago!😏) but I still get the impression it’s going to work out. If I am right, that would point to why he is keen to get partnerships on our ‘non-core’ as his strategy is pretty much to concentrate on the obvious.

We’ve drilled over 1,100 metres this past week testing higher grade gold mineralisation potential down dip in the heart of our deposit. To date we’ve completed 9 drill holes for just over 2,000 metres. We look forward to providing further updates as our programme progresses.”

Down dip depth testing in the ‘heart of the deposit’. Wonder exactly whereabouts they are targeting for that exercise?

The number of meters this week (+1100 metres) suggests minimal repositioning between holes, so I reckon 3 at between -300 and -350 metres.

I can’t stop smiling now that I know we are heading for 80p a share….

And there was me thinking that 2p was pushing it even with all the good stuff going on.

It started last week.

There is a good chance the first drill hole at least has been completed based on hq average drill meterage. Desperate to know where exactly it was, and what their initial thoughts on core visual appearance are.

Gold price rally and a positive view on core (pre-assay) might actually get the sp moving along.

The CEO provided a brief video update from Pdac. I trust you have seen it?

The infill sampling so far reported was a pilot programme or ‘first pass’ intended to test the shoulders of the known mineralisation. This was done through the sampling of historical core and the CEO confirmed that this had shown clarity about the extension of the gold mineralisation at Bam which was excellent news. In layman’s terms, we now have proven gold in areas previously considered to be unmineralised. This will have significant economic benefits down the line.

The programme has also added additional knowledge about the gold structures at Lamaune which is shaping up nicely as a confirmed satellite deposit to Bam, and the intention is now to move Lamaune to a deposit level.

Finally, the CEO confirmed that the move to reopen the camp was ongoing in preparation for the start of drilling earlier this week. The intention to start drilling in early March had already been announced. Obviously, the team now have a plethora of new information following the extensive technical review, so it will be very telling to see exactly where they explore in this ongoing 3500m drill campaign.

Very interesting interview that; just as much, if not more so, for the things not said😁

Geo chem work very positive to the East as expected based on the historical showings at Toronto Lake, but clearly he is alluding to stuff that he cannot yet talk about.

An interesting point made in the interview was the targeting of areas of mineralisation likely to have a positive impact on the dilutive aspect of ore v waste ratio as per current pea. This could impact hugely on production economics as well as resource and grade. Clearly though, these thoughts have originated through the other workstreams not yet reported upon, as east geo chem would not impact on those previously drilled areas.

I like the way this guy thinks. Very switched on, and getting very excited in an understated way towards the end…

Excellent first update I think.

The thing is Zed You (for you it is! 😁), I am very much pro Fcm. A discussion for another day, but I am optimistic about the future now.

My problem is that I cannot abide mindless ramping, but equally I take issue with those, like you sometimes Zed, who post negatively (that’s fine) but either do not take on board responses to that (like you Zed) which is not good, or, way worse, post really negative stuff without absolutely no argument or rationale behind it. And still don’t want to hear arguments to the contrary.

I like debate. And if someone isn’t up to debating a point, then they should remain silent.

So I say my bit. It isn’t liked by her. Again. And red carded I get. C’est La vie😏

Now then, as for results, I really do not know. Sunbeam, NH, or both. And, of course, it is not always just the results that are key; just as important, (and quite often more so), is what those results tell us moving forward. A lot of folk don’t get that. They hope for more of the 19g/t stuff, and get exasperated when it doesn’t happen. Not saying it won’t mind. I simply don’t know.

Probably waiting on news Jungian.

Initial hype was not built upon unfortunately, so momentum has been lost.

That said, looks like Alex’s team has been hard at it; both getting to grips with the fundamentals with Tect assistance etc, as well as more early stage geo chem sampling.

Once results of these are known, alongside what the core infill sampling tells us, I suspect we will start to see increased market interest, especially as we head towards the new teams maiden drill programme still expected to kick off Q1.

Landore are now looking at this matter. I don’t know the motive or full rationale, but a share swop of some kind on the remaining 10 per cent seems to be the likely option potentially during H1. Obviously no details on fine print such as value / ratio or anything like that.
