I posted this a number of times that this current government is worse in my living memory being the most incompetant with no interegrity inmv. When covid hit the then pm stood on a pedestool asking the U.K diagnostic indusyry to pull together. They did hiring hundreds of staff to scale up for the manufacture of lft. The dhsc did their bit by securing a multimillion contract with them. Only not to deliver on it and instead buying billions of tests produced in China. These companies were let down by gvnmt and worse still people lost jobs over this.My fear is that they are about to do the same with North sea oil and gas. Their rhetoric is sounding the same to me . They say they want to secure Britains security in terms of energy. When in reality they are about to do the opposite inmv

My the pm managed to study hold down a career and then became a politician. So how long exactly did he actually work for a large company for. By the way this does have a bearing on Serica as decision s made by him and his cabinet will effect Serica going forward and ultimately tax paying shareholders.

Also not forgetting the anual Christmas party. In the good old days this was tax deductable. Maybe Serica could hold one h..l of party in some exotic location flying employees and partners out. Better still also pay for the drill rig party as well.that should bring the tax bill down a bit.
Here is another thought . Serica could hire as many shareholders as possible paying them an inflated salary for doing nothing. Hmg seems to love paying people to do nothing so i am sure they would welcome that.

why would they. they are individuals like you and me . i invest like you on the merits of the company and not on the back of other pi investors.

We are constantly let down by by old fogey investors on here. i.e fly boats and gernabobs, who may hasten to add do not like outsiders. the bod evidently fall into this category.
i for one will be very annoyed if news has leaked re eigg and more so if they have used the same crew as with other drills.

Why do you keep mentioning the Hardys. Thats their business.. Why not mention institions and HMG and the bod. Every pi makes there own decision. Just my view and bye the the way i am no way connected to them , but no individual pi should be singled out on this bb or else where.inmho

It could be some chinese deal is in the making . Hmg loves those kind of deals as they seem to back eight billion pounds of lft from the very people that created this mess over covid to start with.Tax them unless they need them for another lockdown.

.At the end of the day we had a chance to negotiate a merger which would have benefitted us. No one knows what went on behind closed doors there,but inmv egos got in the way. just my opinion on this.
