my view now is that all money accrued should now be returned to ALL SHAREHOLDERS and not wasted on overpayed drill workers and politicicians . Let alone inflated salaries for the bod.

I wonder what they were charging for items such as toilet rolls. Maybe serica could get a more detailed breakdown of charges and relay this to shareholders. INMHO this has been another gravy train for the few.

I am sure many posters on this bb are fully aware that the recent results were dire to say the least.. However i was a little bit surprised that the company did not intimate any real positives in their forward looking statement. Apart from how diagnostics is the growth industry of the future. Unfortunatly this kind rhetoric was portrayed during the nineteen eighties by other diagnostic companies but to no avail.This in my view is a little bit bizarre. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why the company did not use the opportunity on results day to promote the company in a more proactive and enthusiastic way.

Shell want changes hmmm and when might they hope for this to occur. They and BP have recently been inept and bordering on corrupt together with HMG inmho. The best this mob could come up with now is to do more bkr type deals with companies such as Serica.
As for serica strongly recommending share holders to do nothing when the Kistos offer came in. Well unfortunatly with each day that passesm it is becoming more apparent that their words were just rhetoric that urged shareholders to have faith. I am not sure how long they feel that this can be justified without any concrete growth gowing forward.

forgot to add serica was only a part of it as there was a good dozen other stocks involved along with failures. the point is this gvmnt seems to reward failure and not success.. why inmv

Here is story that some may find interesting.
There was a person who when being made redundant transfered his fund's to a sip.
He then grew those funds to forty times without tax relief. I.e hmg paying tax into his sip. Then when he started to withdraw funds he is hit with tax. Is that fare??

I am afraid Britain as we know it is finished. A over populated lazy nation that relies on the u.s , china,sauuudi and the rest. Still we have an excellent pm now in charge to protect Great Britain's interests.

Also fwiw i am still hopeful we will bounce back soon in some way as other oil and gas companies are in the same position as ourselves . So hopefully there is a plan in place to mitigate this.

Apologies if anyone has raised this scenario already,but the company could do some kind of buyout and take it private at a premium to where we are now. I am not sure how they could do this unless it is a management buyout, but it would certainly reward shareholders.
