One thing we all seem to be assuming is that Merc will add no value. They do have connections whatever we may feel. Also maybe they have a deal on the back burner.

If you are saying that these tax losses could be used in a single year. Then that is a possitive. The bod need to stipulate this. Maybe they already have to the larger holders. Which could explain todays rise.

As I posted earlier this can be stopped. We just need an institution and largest holder to vote this down. With pi,...s on this bb also voting against it will stop this occurring.inmv

Inmv it is starting to look more and more like a deal to stop Kistos approaching again. I feel we need to some how at the very least get this deal delayed. If they are still interested they could then re bid .

The problem we now have should this deal go through we could end up looking at the shares trading at two pounds or less. What is woryying to me is the constant daily falls atm. On the plus side if this does drop before the deal is finalised then someone must surely be interested in buying this out as with our cash pile it would not require much capital to this inmho.
I am not on twitter myself, but there must be holders out there that can post their destain of current events.

Fwiw. My only thoughts to all of this are
Tailwind/maric were near a large deal themselves which wasnt finalised. So if that is the case the combined group will benefit going forward.
Secondly Serica know far more than we are led to believe in how hmg are going to act in the future in terms of tax and possible incentives.
Hopefully we will all benefit as to what transpires here during the next few months,Also with the share price languishing it must surely be open to an approach by someone.

I would not be surprised if they go for a full listing now. That would attract more institutional investors inmv

All I know is that on paper I am down over two hundred thousand since the high. Just hope they have been more clever than hmg here.mind you it probably isn't that difficult.
