Its far better now that this carries on falling inmv for the following reasons
The deal may need to be re addressed
Good opportunity to add as it appraoches cash value
A possible bidder finding Serica more attractive.

Also oil is falling sharply . So in my view why are we overpaying for this. Tailwind will not be making a profit if oil falls much further and with seventy five per cent tax on top .
So another good reason to break the deal inmv

Your bet is to try and get their address from either the register or companies house. Then either direct them to this and advfns bullitin board. You could also print of all the analysis by yourself and other knoweledgable posters and post it to them.

No suprise there Newkotb. I did post this a couple of times. Jefferies were and maybe still are involved with their own equity linked dept (convertable bond desk)
I wouldnt be surprised if they are not in the process of restructuring debt via this route.
Once again this deal stinks through and through inmv. If this does pan out like my musings then i will report the lot of them for mall practice and not looking after shareholders interests. fwiw i bet this would not be happening had we been listed in the u.s

If the share price got back above 3.50 fwiw I would be happy for them to go private.however 18 months is a long time.

The market still thinks this is cra..p deal and so do I. Whatever happens I will vote no. If and when it recovers unless things improve I will be out of here. All trust has gone inmv

One plus thing is that with the price falling the deal may get broken. Bring on two pounds thats what I say and then hopefully a bidder will materialize and take us all out of our misery.surely Kistos must be interested.

The has all along stated that they would not overpay for assets. So why do they feel that this such a bargain. It seems to get worse by the day inmo

hebridean9. Hopefully the bod have recieved feedback from a number of us as to how we are not happy with this and will take this on board when they issue the circular. I.E making the deal sound more appealing.

Two points. We were not given a chance to vote in favour of the deal. Instead we were strongly advised to do nothing. Which i literally took as something better was brewing. Unfortunatly it appears that it is most certainly not the case inmv.
True in hindsight it would have been better to sell which i did in part, but as i posted they did indicate that a better deal or growth was on the cards.
Having said that hopefully the circular will make this deal sound more attractive.

Before we had the safety net of cash underpinning the share price. Now we have not. So once again where is the house broker in all of this and do the institutions like this deal

If this is a reverse takeover then they need to divulge this to the FCA. Also as far as I am concerned if value can be added in a few months then fine. If not I will definitely be moving on as there are a number of better shares out there inmv.

A letter needs to be written to the FCA and copying Serica bod in . There has been some excellent articulate posts by a number of posters highlighting possible wrong doing. I would be happy to add my name to such a letter written by one of the more articulated posters.

That's my feeling as well Banburyboy. Why aren't major holders jumping up and down. My view is that either they are awaiting the circular or know far more than the rest of us.
