Starting to trade better after the break?

Travelodge, the budget hotel chain that was bailed out in 2012 before turning round its fortunes, will invest £140m on 19 new branches this year. The first new hotel will open in Weston-super-Mare in the spring and follows a radical overhaul at Travelodge, which was saved from the brink of collapse in 2012 by Goldman Sachs and two US hedge funds.

Could be the best time certainly to complete RTO and get listed etc etc. too long, hard going but we shall see.

Average isa is now 0.85% and bank savings act is 0.48% with current being 0.01%. I know people who chase savings rates from isa to isa and whilst some tip inflation it's not a great deal. Easy hotel offer 0.5% with risk/potential in capital appreciation very high. Banks are paying savers very little and investing their money in business that pay higher divi, obvious win for them. January is traditionally slow, I note hotel prices are starting to pick up, premier doing a lot of air play advertising with Lenny Henry, would like to see more from easy hotel on the digital streams. AGM next week with usually a short update.

Some stability with the price and a huge buy gone through there by someone. That's still not near the 3% declare mark more near the 1% so we probably won't learn who this is unless director. It's the last day for divi subscription so this person will earn 0.5% on these shares in 5 weeks time, better than many bank accounts right now. Let's see what next week brings. GLA

didn't they state in the last rns that irrespective of timings the shipments would be made to the US and it wouldn't be a issue? hopefully this is the case and the shipments are made in line with approval.

even with the extra bought business. no direct correlation but they do sell alcohol, they do sell our brands and they do sell premium brands against the supermarkets so we shall see. I think everyone expects increase in volume, that's a guarantee as we are selling through more outlets, just how much and margins. gla

but hopefully in this case it will stay the same the reaction seems in general to be quite gradual, as though there aren't huge numbers of shares been traded and 10 to 15k can have an impact one way or the other. the spread has also been reason and showing control so happy overall. I think the update might be short and sweet, meeting expectations with a busy December but very slow jan underneath. need then through digital workings get repeat bookings up. as staocks are trading at this time, I am hoping a small divi paying, budget chain of hotels might come into fashion!!

with everything else really going bottoms up at the minute hopefully we can fill a few budget hotel rooms at a good price, buy a few more building and renovate the ones we have. lets keep this nice and steady, keeping it going. gla

get the feeling up over this next period as the world looks to be taking one big dive again. even reports on the USA going backwards, Europe is stalled and UK isn't exactly firing on all cylinders. Sage, need my return in 16 years please, might be by then??

obviously now above declared asset value so trading on potential. still only at the 55 million ish mark and the property in barbican has probably gone up more in the last three weeks than the sp!! people looking for the 0.5% divi? not sure, better than a lot of banks at present time and this wont change. we will also I believe get a trading update in jan before AGM. good rise, happy for this to continue, but no rush. need 8 pounds by 2025 please!!

well this may increase now up to the divi date. its actually yielding 0.5% which against my bank Barclays and a lot of others this isn't actually too bad. my intention is to take the small divi, gov pension money and invest further after the feb payout. then let this roll into and through 2016. I think we will hopefully see a gradual upswing, controlling costs?? at the same time showing further development dates and better cost reduction or gain from current customers. as I have stated before one of the biggest costs this year will be Guys salary and no doubt his team. the financial director received a 30k amount of only joining the business! so if these guys don't at least double the sp in two years their salaries I don't think are justified. the market is there we now need to get hold of it a capitalize. this has the potential to be a 400 million business within another 5 years!!
