Rock8, I don't know what others have suggested but I can't see what's illegal about organising a PE buyout and then continuing in his role as the boss, but on a highly incentivised PE contract. I believe this is the more likely outcome, if there is indeed to be a PE buyout, than a hostile one.

I'll take that sentence with a pinch of salt. Actually I've rarely come across a company with more rampy language in their RNSs - everything is 'strong', 'surging' 'market leading' and the management's focus 'robust', 'unswerving', 'tireless', etc etc. Who writes this stuff? Puts me right off .

Ok Rock8, so he's duty bound to get the best price for all. So he organises a PE buyout of all shareholders (including himself) at a price acceptable to both a majority of shareholders and the PE entities. He's then re-employed on a PE deal and can buy in at a later date. How's that sound?

He may also shove some of his own money into the buyout (why not, he's got plenty), so that he's an owner. We'll find out hopefully soon enough how they'll structure it.

Fair enough. Well I'm not on the BOD (wish I was - I'd crack 'em into shape) and have added twice in the past 2 trading days. Sometimes feels like I'm the only one.

At this stage in the story, throwing more money is less a finely calculated investment decision than a punt, but that's ok, I can lose this money.

"BOD is letting the share price go so low". Remember, until we have an independent Chairman, Mr Moulding is effectively the BOD... and he's obviously not buying - why would he when he'll be taking it private with other people's money (again).

Nofear, the person to be wary of is you. We all know we can look elsewhere if we get fed up with THG, we don't actually need you to tell us. But you're not telling us to 'look elsewhere' are you? You're asking us to look specifically at Capita. As it happens I'm a holder of those shares, but even as a holder I'm not impressed with your shameless (and weird) ramping of the company on other share forums.

Exactly cteal, that's the hard one. Average down or execute a stop loss. Previously the former worked well for me but I cannot say that of late - stop losses would've been the way to go.

Absolutely. It's about behaviour and managing emotions and most investors (I include myself) are cr*p at it. There is no point repeating and repeating the same stuff as a share tanks, with no reference to the fact it has tanked. One needs to and must learn from these experiences. The biggie for me is topping up or selling out when the price falls so far. Can't seem to get that right.
