Here are some questions that worry me.
Pricing power: are they able to pass on cost increases in this ultra competitive cheap end of the market?
Demand: will the impending cost of living crisis affect customer's demand for their clothes, or are they immune at this cheap end of the market?
Also, will the impending cost of living crisis affect profitability of their customer financing/credit operation?

In fact I've been clawing back some of my losses by purchasing shares unfairly punished on ok Trading Updates. It's one way to make some money in this difficult market. Most recent example would be Reach plc, where I made 13% in a day following their TU.

Well, obviously - that's the risk one takes. It's simply my observation of my holdings in recent weeks - the share price takes a hit if the update is 'in line' and is crushed if there's a hint of bad news. Only a 'big beat' works. It's all down to poor market sentiment, esp towards online retailers.

Exactly my sentiments. I'm a holder and I've followed the share down with further purchases. I'm also thinking of selling a chunk (at a big loss) before the next TU. Selling before the TU and buying back lower (if desired) has been a winning trade of late.

If I may suggest, there are no friends on these share forums. Trading appears to be a major believer in Boohoo and is probably nursing hefty losses therefore. It would darken anyone's mood. His blinkered approach has not served him well.

Right now it's still all conjecture. They say it doesn't have a financial bearing..... but this corporate governance issue must be so serious (auditor resignation with no news of a replacement, share suspension, danger of fines for failing to file accounts) that I can't really see how it doesn't.

But doesn't anyone feel even a modicum of protection from this recent board appointee on behalf of a major shareholder?

Very interesting. And what might get us out of this situation? Simply a large weight of 'buy' money following good results, causing the shorts to cover, as you imply?

If you wish to split hairs, call it the confiscation of Russian assets. It's a risk - the share price action tells you so.

The day after it rises, the share price gets slammed down 10%. Happens every time. What is it with this share?
