Exactly - and even more so in present conditions - the tide is finally turning away from growth and towards cash generative companies conventionally valued - anyone can see it if the look. The sound of pennies dropping will become very familiar in 2022!

That's an entirely legitimate take. Most of us still here are in the same boat. And of course we've ring-fenced this and are properly diversified - it's lesson 1.0. It doesn't make the paper loss much less painful though - you may feel comfortable about it all but that reflects more on yr attitude to risk.

Saying the pros use tactics to scare us implies that underneath the fundamentals are sound. Sure about that?

And, in a real sense, that's the problem with this share now. Nobody - not even the bulls - want to buy when it's almost nailed on it will be cheaper tomorrow or next week. What will change sentiment? An incredible earnings beat (not gonna happen any time soon) or a buyout.

This share has not increased a penny (in fact it's declined) since its IPO in October 2015. Private equity did another number on us, it seems.

Share price action today. Dropped sharply at the start in concert with most shares on Ukraine news, then staged a recovery, again in concert with shares generally and presumably helped by their RNS, but then, unlike the rest of the market, THG's recovery went into reverse and we end the day down. I fear for tomorrow. Right now doubt and uncertainty (and shorters) rule this share, but you cannot keep stretching the elastic band indefinitely.

For balance, just to say, yes, they are increasing the interim divi, but they're also increasing investment spending and say they'll suspend the special divi for a couple of years to pay for it.

In concert with everything else, it's ABDP's turn to take a pasting today. I was worried about the high P/E ratio, but with the share price declining from 2400 to 1290 in the past 10 months, I'm less so now... Enough is enough, let's see an earnings beat when results come out in April.

That's one side of the ex-patriot world, but the other is a bunch of hard working go-getters with marketable skills.
