Don't take it personally Brad. Last results (29th Jan) the signs were pretty bad. Maybe Peter Hargreaves wants to cash in because there are 3,700 disgruntled HL investors who lost on their recommendation of Woodford Equity Income Fund. It is reported that two law firms are preparing a case on their behalf for a class action. I wonder how many more tranches he plans to offload - he still owns 25% of HL . Very tricky knowing which way this will go now.

Love Island - ITV's seven-day consolidated figures stated that 4.8 million people have watched the first episode of Love Island 2020 (down on last year's 5.9 million viewers). It is, however, still the most-watched show among young people (age 16-34) so far this year, and they're still big numbers for the channel. CPG is a keeper for me and I expect a good return in 2020/21. Sales were up 5.3% in last Qtr which is quite a bit down on previous Qtr but these things are seasonal. I will be looking to top up on any small drop in the SP ~1860 level. The SP is up 2% so markets like the progress. The outlook statement was very positive:
"We have had an encouraging start to the year and our outlook for 2020 remains unchanged with organic growth around the mid-point of our 4-6% guidance range whilst maintaining our strong margin(2). In the longer-term, we remain excited about the significant structural growth opportunities globally, and the potential for further revenue and profit growth combined with further returns to shareholders."

Strong Sell. This government seems intent on drastically cutting our carbon output. Fully expect The Chancellor to hammer airlines with taxes or outright bans to try and lessen unnecessary flying and encourage aviation industry to get working quicker on reducing their carbon pollution. It will gain them popularity with the ever growing climate change bandwagon so bound to happen. Too political IMHO.

SP dn 4.4% since results. Back to Feb 2019 levels. With economies slowing and China virus impact I reckon the Bears will take this down to £28. Wish they'd hike the divvi rather than all these buybacks.
