What is the chance the NDA with the American manufacturer is actually Ocumetics?
I sure hope it isn’t.

So if we wanted to produce a 7nm chip it would cost $7m, is that why we would need a NDA with a manufacturer so they would absorb that cost?
Also he said a phrase that confused me, it was something like nearly the same as existing software, anybody understand what he meant by that?

This made me think are we looking at this up to 30% increase incorrectly?
Assuming this website is correct, daily income would increase from $9.97 to $12.96 assuming 30% increase.
The electricity we assume would stay fixed at $8.78
So the actual profit would increase from $1.18 per day to $4.18 per day. That is quite a significant increase compared to 30% increase in $1.18 ($1.53)

Am I looking at this correctly or am I making a big mistake somewhere? I know it is a simplistic example but I thought people might like to think about or discuss.

I agree I would prefer to be paid in bitcoins, then we can profit from any upturn in their price. The problem would be people would get upset if bitcoin price actually decreased. This is becoming more of a long term holder if we want to reap the expected benefits in my opinion.

Upon reading the update yesterday I thought that up to 30% increase would see a boost to the share price which didn’t happen. Reading everybody’s comments what I feel has happened is we are suffering for vague updates in the past. We should be given the facts and timeframes more regularly. It seems the company thought progress could have been achieved far quicker than it is presently doing. If we had been kept updated more regularly if the slower pace then I think the news yesterday would have had a far more positive on the share price. Just my thoughts.

Initial reading of the update and the market’s reaction, if I was a large bitcoin miner I would look at buying QBT. Use the software update and not allow others to use it. If it is 30% speed increase for no further energy consumption surely that is a big positive?
Would there have been the same market reaction if bitcoin had been selling for $30k+
Sorry still trying to process this update and the fact still remains it states we are 30% quicker than existing software

I thought it is you can apply for a patent any day not just a Wednesday
The update list of applications then appears on the website on a Wednesday approximately 6 weeks later.
However, I thought if we apply for a patent then we need to do a RNS immediately. So a patent RNS could be any day of the week I would assume.

With regards RKBEEKEEPER I like to believe in people until proven otherwise. You can find his list of criteria for him investing in a company via another share’s board.

If people know a patent is being lodged and acted upon it without it being in the public domain wouldn’t that be classed as insider trading and I for one have no intention of accusing anybody of that

We have all invested our own money and different people have different reasons and everybody is entitled to their own civil opinions

Morning everybody

After reading all the RNSs yesterday I tried to think what are the actual verifiable facts for QBT. These are the facts I could think of:
- [ ] They have lodged a patent, which as of yet hasn’t been granted yet
- [ ] We won a litigation case but do not know how much we will actually collect or by when
- [ ] Operating loss of nearly €5m last year.

Excuse my ignorance but what other verifiable facts can people think of and I don’t mean what they say they are doing and going to be doing but without any evidence?

Everything else appears to be just supposition or rumour and not backed up by evidence or results.

I know I appear to be getting more cynical but as people keep saying DYOR and I do like dealing with facts.

Tests been done on FPGA chip ultimate goal 5nm ASIC chip. NDA from November 2021 gives company access to 5nm manufacturing plants.

Current plan is to develop Prototypes of 12nm and 7nm ASIC chips leading to estimates for a 5nm chip which would be developed for internal use

So by my reckoning the company may not have actually produced even a prototype ASIC chip yet.

My big problem is they seem to ignore any communication from private investors except RKBEEKEEPER, why is that? We own a vast amount of the company so why not start treating us with a bit of respect and answer emails and update shareholders. Is that courtesy too much to ask for from the company? Sorry for the rant but they need to start treating all shareholders with respect in my opinion.

I would like an update to confirm how quick we are to our competitors and we have started production of chips and mining. At the moment we need to start building confidence and revenues in my opinion.

I totally agree with the cost of 5nm v 7nm but it was FG himself who said in the results RNS June 22 they had an agreement in place with one of the only companies with access to 5nm technology.

I wonder if somebody with a better memory than me can remember something about us having a slot booked with a chip manufacturer for next year? I can’t seem to find that so am just wondering was it indeed the case or have I imagined it.

That is my problem, we will not be using the fastest available chips. So unless our updates are fantastic we will not be the fastest and lose any competitive advantage. So why buy our technology?

Thank you for your response.

QBT may indeed be in contention for a Nobel Prize nomination but as I said that is months if not years in the future. Shareholders want better communication and I for one think that they are ignoring private shareholders and stringing us along. This perceived fixation with the water park is not what I and am sure others invested in this company for. That is the icing on the case and should be left to the lawyers to deal with.

I would prefer the company trying to find a viable 5nm chip manufacturer.

People have been patient but you can only be patient for so long before the trust starts to fade and that is what appears to happening as people sell their shareholdings at a loss.
You state FG does not tolerate dishonesty in which case I feel he should show more respect to private shareholders and help stop all the rumour mongering by telling us what is honestly happening with the testing.
