I think you are right to be weary at this price. When the additional 284,090,910 shares are able to be traded around 1st June, some of those shareholders are bound to be tempted to sell and make an overnight profit of the difference between 22p and whatever the traded price is, bringing the price to or near 22p.

No one appreciates being called a fool for no reason and unprovoked. Who are you calling a fool and why? I'll give my reasoning and you give yours. These new shares will end up being the majority of the new shareholding in Kier - there are currently 162M shares, with 284M new ordinary shares at 85p about to be added. These new shares equate to nearly 60% of the new total shareholding of Kier. It wouldn't take many of these new shareholders (especially the speculative ones who have no interest in Kier) to sell all their shares on or around 16th June at whatever premium you and other 'loyal' Kier followers have pumped the price to, in order to make a quick buck, quickly bringing the price back down to 85p or thereabouts.
RScorpio I think you're lucky it wasn't lower - look at what they've done in the past, with that rns to take it private.
The problem will be when they issue more shares to new investors at 10% premium to NAV, this will plummet, like it did when they threatened to take it private. That's why I got out. I don't trust this board of directors. It does have good potential aside from this worry though
Little, ignore Gilers, I think you'll find a lot of share investors started small. My first share purchase was smaller than that and then I invested about £4,000 over a period of 2 years just over 20 years ago now. I've not taken anything out nor added anything to it over that time and it's turned into £280,000 through the miracle of compound returns. Keep at it
Hi Phoenix, I see that your buy is actually showing as a sell
We have the exact same amount dazzle. Picked up mine at 5.6p average. You?
I have given up worrying about how this share goes up and down. I have tried trading it over the years, and f*cked it up most times. It doesn't always go in the direction you expect. Just holding on tight now, and I don't know about enjoying the ride, but at least I'm not falling out.
Thanks dazzle - you offer some good points. Now that you mention Eat Beyond, I like the look of their portfolio, and supposedly my broker allows buying on the Canadian Stock Exchange, but I can't find it when I search on my brokers site. Anybody else had this problem by chance?
I'm feeling a bit wobbly up here this far above the NAV. Maybe the next reported NAV will be much higher?
ReoninV, yes our EV will go further if you put it in "Range Mode", which also limits the max air con and heating. We can also put the acceleration in "Chill" mode which limits the power, and extends range. We can also change the regeneration braking, so when on max regen we also get more range. It also depends how you drive, just like mpg in an ICE car. The car will also show you how many Wh/km you are using. We have also noticed the big difference hills make. We lived only 60km from a ski field, but our elevation was 350m above sea level and the ski field car park was 1600m - when driving up to the ski field we used a crazy amount of power, but when driving down we could go 30km before getting back to the range we started with in the ski field car park!
I like Mosa Meat, because in my opinion they have the most disruptive product - actual beef, the same as beef, but grown in a lab
Thanks Trumpy - I like the sound of one of their investments, TurtleTree Labs. I wonder if Agronomics has looked into them?
Forzeb don't worry mate - no matter what mistake you make, rest assured someone will make one bigger. I had 400,000 AFC shares, at an average of 6.58p, then sold them at about 17p average. Bought some back again at 25p, but nowhere near 400,000! Sh*t happens.
