We just had an electrician install an EV charger at our home, and he was telling me he's just installed some EV chargers at our local hydro power station (I'm not in UK), for their managers who drive between hydro power stations to plug in their new Hyundai EV's. This got me thinking about companies that produce hydrogen as a by-product (such as chlorine production), who could install an AFC H2 EV Charger and power their roving managers EV's with their excess hydrogen, gaining some good 'green' PR in the process!
Yes Bmac, new vehicle sales is what I meant, as you figured out - no need to get snarky about it. You seem to be the type that never gets anything wrong, and is always right, am I correct? Oh wait no, except for your short or CFD or whatever mistake you made when AFC was 10p.
Full EV's and plug-in hybrids are due to hit 50% this year in Norway, and they are climbing rapidly. With Norway's average vehicle age at 10.5 years, it won't take long before Bmac's 7% ('rounded' from 7.8%) is a significantly higher number.

RiskyBusiness1, EV's used to have different plugs from different manufacturers, but Europe is leading the charge (excuse the pun) and have made insisted on a standard EV plug which is the Type 2 CCS, which is essentially one plug does all (Type 2 for the AC 'slow' connection, and CCS for the DC 'fast' charge connection). We in Aus/NZ have followed Europe with this standard, although we have a lot of Japanese used import cars, which have CHAdeMO connections (the Japanese plug), therefore all our DC fast chargers have both Type 2 CCS and CHAdeMO available, but all 'slow' AC plugs are now Type 2 only.
Bmac, you have cut and pasted your previous posts and regurgitated the same arguments at least TWELVE TIMES! Within that time and in between each post your arguments have been rebutted and debunked on several occasions by many different long term investors on here who have been following all the news and information available regarding AFC over YEARS, not just one month as you have been following (or haven't been, as can be ascertained from your posts).
To play your same game back at you, I am cutting and pasting one of your posts on another stock, which most will find ironic that we can substitute 'AFC' and 'Bmac' for the names and descriptions used in your quote:
"If you can see the potential here and ignore all the ’industrial challenges’ crap from our resident aggravator then today’s sp is still a bargain with a X2 potential from here in the short term. Meanwhile "*****" continues it’s upward journey unperturbed by those pesky ‘industry headwinds’."
All the best, TwoCents
Does any shareholder going on the 6th Dec have an EV? It would be quite cool to charge a shareholder's EV on the day. I hope it doesn't just have that BMW i8 plugged in again - i8's have a puny battery less than 10% the size of my EV.
Klunk, I don't think you need to jump down peterperfect's throat. Tesla could be a potential future customer with a similar setup - it is a mobile supercharger based on an insane battery capacity (the Tesla Megapack), which has replaced previous, less environmentally friendly mobile superchargers that had diesel generators. Who's to say the next iteration of mobile superchargers Tesla come out with couldn't be with AFC fuel cells?
I'm just watching this stock - haven't decided whether I need more risk in my portfolio. It seems to have a low market cap relative to it's potential? And by my calculations over 90% of the shares owned by directors and large owners, therefore not a lot of free float. When it goes it might go with a roar.
Quote from Bmac... "BumbleB. Reluctant as I am to return to this matter you have it completely wrong. At no point have I stated that I have been posting on the AFC board for 10 years as implied by you. My initial posts said quote...
I sold out of AFC 9 years ago...
12 Nov 2019 11:41
I sold out of AFC 9 years ago on the realisation that commercialisation was further away than I had initially anticipated.
I'll make it clear once again...At that time I was posting on this board, iii and ADVFM. Please get it right. Bmac"
Bmac, BumbleB has it right. It is you Bmac, who has it wrong, and quite frankly I think you are exhibiting NPD behaviour. You did say you had been posting on this AFC board, as evidenced by the following threads...
I sold out of AFC 9 years ago...
Bmac 12 Nov '19... "I sold out of AFC 9 years ago on the realisation that commercialisation was further away than I had initially anticipated...(continues with long de-ramping blurb)"
RE: I sold out of AFC 9 years ago...
TwoCents 12 Nov '19... "It does seem suspicious behavior to tell us all that you sold out 9 years ago, and then turn up on this board after so long to talk it down. You have been a member here since 2009 but you've never posted on the AFC board till now. I'm calling you out as a BS artist and opportunist that's trying to get into this stock by first talking it down."
RE: I sold out of AFC 9 years ago...
Bmac 12 Nov '19... "I posted regularly on this board back then and on the FuelCell thread on iii as well. You'd be too young to remember all that."
RE: I sold out of AFC 9 years ago...
BumbleB 12 Nov '19... "Hi Bmac. I have been here for a long time and I don’t remember your name, so I did what I always do when new characters with a lot to say turn up on this board. Not a word from you until this month, although you have posted on others since 2009, often with a long series of posts on individual companies. Your memory seems to be a tad suspect. If you are going to try to bash the stock at least come up with a plausible story, and correct figures, as others have pointed out.
Or were you posting on AFC under another name?"
RE: I sold out of AFC 9 years ago...
Bmac 12 Nov '19... "BumbleB. No I've always used Bmac and I remember you well. You are long timer here and a well respected posters on this board. Do you remember FuelCell form way back? He later started his own thread on ADVFM? And another well respected poster called Speculator who actually worked in this industry?"
QED
Bmac turned up on this AFC board at 10p talking it down, and has so far talked it all the way down to 22p. If he was shorting at 10p, I can see why he would be sweating so much and spewing forth such long winded desperate posts, pointing out the bleedingly obvious such as AFC doesn't have any sales yet.
BumbleB in relation to Bmac... "And he has not told the truth about his past posting history here". That is true. I have been through ALL of Bmac's posts, and even though he has been on this board since 2009, he has never posted on here until this month. So unless Bmac has figured out a way of deleting his past posts on AFC (while keeping his other posts from the past), he is not telling the truth, and has other motives on here.
Hi Agusta, I look at Norway with much interest - I think you are leading the way and this is where the rest of the world should be going. I agree with you about the fast charging - you can get away with charging a premium price per kWh, and I think this fast (rapid) charging is where AFC should concentrate their EV charging system, not in slow charging systems where the price per kWh is just the standard grid price.
