Not really, it seems the low awaited commercialisation has stabilised the SP, it's now just a matter of execution and further news.

It has traded lower the past year and higher in the past month.

Reading this board of the past 12 months or so wasn't that your point, that there was no commercialisation and only the promise of it.

Fair enough some harder numbers on orders would help things, somehow looking at volume not so much.

In other words based on those numbers, a 500MN increase on the bottom line per year yes?

Seems like the change in circumstances is not reflected in the SP given the market valuation.

It hasn't, it looks more like LSE has just changed the short notification icon to indicate open positions. It's the same on any other ticker with an open short.

True. There was a hype with hydrogen powering basically everything from all forms of transport to heating, until the economics/carbon was weighed in on how that hydrogen is created and how electricity may do that more efficienctly. The storage and transport issues.

It's eminently obvious that off-grid applications have a need for hydrogen vs diesel.

I'm just a wee investor (10K shares). I can see how the mcap vs current revenue doesn't warrant a rise but given recent news and long awaited commercialisation, what other caveats are in play.

10GW over a year is pretty low, though. Boilers can accept a certain % of hydrogen in the main.

TBF it's a side point, it's about having a levelised cost of energy and how much pollution it produces.

Heating homes, I guess the point you're getting across is that the supply of hydrogen and infrastructure will be a necessity. Which helps AFC because there's a scaling up of hydrogen supply?...

All well and good for reducing emissions but entirely depends on how the hydrogen is created.

In periods of wind curtailment, during heat demand, possibly for green hydrogen.

Otherwise, storage, emissions and cost. Hydrogen is never going to beat the price of natural gas near term for burning.

My understanding of hydrogen for heating is that it's not the low hanging fruit given the efficiency losses to provide said hydrogen (unless white hydrogen?) and the kinds of volume needed to satisfy demand vs cost of natural gas. Or generally anything that could be powered by electricity and a heat pump that'll produce 3/4x more heat energy vs electricity input.

Hydrogen as an energy source is suited to off-grid locations.

Could suggest filling an imminent need. Any requirement beyond that is a nice problem to have.
