It could easily be sooner as they've already intimated that they're speaking to major potential partners of the cracker it's not exactly insider info that would prevent news sooner.
The fundraise angle is plausible, as is shorts closing / sentiment improving / director buys and of course the potential for game changing news.
It's clear the current UK govt see hydrogen playing a major part of the energy transition. Lots of the renewable investment funds are trading at a hefty discount but recovering with interest rates reducing- but it feels like there's still uncertainty with any legislation changes about energy pricing. This would surely be less of a problem for hydrogen/AFC given the intent to subsidise it and drive down costs of the supply chain.
It's all whataboutery in the end as any SP increase here is going to be off the back of a large customer order, as it has been for a considerable time. Til then, it's a traders share.
