Tier, I highly doubt we would be 18p, as nigeria production numbers are strong and net debt continues to reduce so downside is limited as such

My guess is realistically they would want to have some sort of a positive confirmation by 14 - 16 June 2023 which is prior to their oil conference. The only way to convince new investors is signing of on other deals like ours to instil confidence that the south sudan government is open for business and they are willing to sign off on deals quickly.

Interestingly 6 months end to our suspension would be 12th June 2023. which is conveniently couple of days before the investor event. My guess is May seems like the most reasonable month for news on South Sudan. However this does not stop the company from releasing other news..........

Also our pipeline capacity is massive and potentially could supply a lot more let’s get more gas to power contracts signed up and we get vastly grow the Nigerian business.

Savannah tweeting about Niger pipeline being 70% complete. Looks like they have probably already laid out plans based on pipeline completion it's been the first time they have tweeted about Niger could it mean we have some Niger plans being drawn up in anticipation of pipeline completion.

I know all that have held for 4/5 years were always in this for Niger and it's potential. If we can start drilling in Niger with signed export capacity and use of pipeline and increase the Nigerian business. Than the outcomes on Chad and South Sudan will not matter too much and will just be a bonus if they come through.......

New AFAM III power plant with capacity of 240MW is close to completion end of March 2023 / early April 2023. Wouldn't surprise me if we get additional take up of our gas from FIPL AFAM to meet full capacity. Regardless of any other deal updates there is still enough capacity to double the accugas business.

Also I am a bit surprised that we haven't had our usual operational update which we normally have end of Jan each year. would be good to see how things in Nigeria are running / progressing.

Looks like the bahamas entity is where the chad oil revenues will sit, and ultimately that's the entity which distributes income attributable to the chad government. The chad government through the courts have chosen not to ratify the sale from Exxon to Savanah however at the same time they have also confirmed that current production will not be interrupted, so they are being cautious as to a full stop of operations as it affects their revenue as well, without further investment the daily rate of production will start to deplete over time and as a result also affect the state revenues, the states debt is tied heavily to oil revenues so it's a case of when the chad government feel the pinch which forces them to the negotiation table.

Seems like the chad ruling is just business as usual otherwise why form a new company….. Porsche heard anything more from IR since your last update ?

More of a reason we need to only re-list if south sudan is fully signed off including ministerial consent as it would be a grave mistake by andrew to re-list and go through similar troubles in south sudan

Agreed well we all want the same outcome which is for everyone to succeed it's and I for one quite enjoy the balanced posts so let's hope he comes back Afterall he was a major contributor and probably the longest standing shareholder on this board. As ever always happy to hear both sides of the debate as long as people's posts are well constructed as it makes a healthy board.

Could this mean an increase in relationship and ties now that Savannah is likely to takeover South Sudan assets from Petronas. Looks like the British trying to work work with South Sudan oil minister on reforms. Great for Savannah to have government level relationship starting to form

Anyone spoken to IR recently, I must say I for one do miss the periodic updates that Agadem use to provide, I know sometimes the info form that was already known but it still gave everyone a feel good feeling of things moving along nicely.................

Anyways seems like Jan is nearly over so that leaves 5 months, it would be nice to be re-listed in Q1 but again it would be even nicer to re-list with complete sign off and closing of acquisition. In the meantime it would be nice to see some operational updates on Nigeria and how things are ticking along there...........................

A new company was incorporated on 12th January 2023 - SESS POWER LIMITED (Company Number 14588464) - Could a new renewable deal be ready to announced........ Julian Horn - Head of Renewables - Savannah Energy is one of of the directors on the incorporation document so definitely another renewable deal hope it's another mega renewable project

My understanding was always that the admission document in theory should not take 6 months after the SPA the reason why the chad took awhile is we were suspended during negotiations prior to SPA however once the SPA was signed we re-listed in 3 weeks. I personally feel that re-listing and admission document document are not really the issue here and if they wanted to they could get it out quickly, I believe they are approaching this deal with perhaps more caution and are hoping for government assurances that the deal will get ministerial consent from South Sudanese government prior to re-listing and there are no unexpected road blocks. Personally I would like ministerial consent prior to re-list as well as it stops the speculators from procrastinating. Let’s just hope that we get both admission and ministerial sign off in short order.

What I find interesting is that a deal of this size and yet there has been radio silence from South Sudanese government I guess this can be viewed as positive or negative it could just mean they are working out the terms with the government. At least with the chad deal there was plenty of external sources keeping us posted on how the deal was progressing
