Two weeks down the line - anybody any news?

Thanks Laugh, I'd missed that. Another example that Modern Water is being innovative. Gib is course the Biggy but I am encouraged that we seem at last to be developing (and selling) a diverse range of products.

If Gama achieve the annual forecast, and there's nothing in the trading statement to say they won't, the current MK is only a quarter of revenue. If they hit the profit forecast as well then the SP on current levels is well cheap. Looking good for a price correction I think.

I was expecting a lowering of the SP today following the recent big gains. Very happy about the so far small correction. The last years figures show that the losses were in the 1st half and the 2nd half was broadly neutral. We move into profit this year with a diverse but tightly managed manufacturing company which will gain from any sterling weakness. I AM IN LOVE!!

I'm a little cautious here. You would think less holiday makers will be buying Euros now the £ has fallen and will business's be as active in Europe pending Brexit?

If you can have a positive understated statement this is it! The confidence to say that market expectations for the year will be met leaves me to believe we will break into profit at year end.

ST was a little coy when asked about revenue forecasts (June 16 webcast) but only taking the Asian contract into account it seems impossible for SRT to not double revenue this year to 20 Mill and again next year to 40 Mill. Perhaps I'm being to conservative here! It would be nice to have a bit more detail regarding Panama and Trinity House as to timing and value.

So far we have seemed isolated from the Brexit price drop. Is todays drop just catching up with the general drop or is there another reason. If we do pick up US business in Virginia then the sterling drop should help. Long time no good news.

I'm not to surprised buy the SP fall-back as yesterday was a big jump. The new contract is a gilt-edged government one that gives great forward revenue vision BUT Government military contacts have a habit of delays and slow starts (We've got no money!) I think it will be a good 12/18 months after the start before the accounts reflect the revenue meaningfully so 2/3 years down the line. And in the meantime we consistently make annual losses and are forecast to do so in this current year. I actually expect us to make a small profit this year to reflect the reorganisation and savings made last year. However with this announcement may pave the way for further good news and lay down some really good future foundations. Lets say 6/7P by the end of the year with a MK of 150% of revenue.

With the reorganisation and cost cutting of last year we should make a small profit this year. Next year 16/17 will see this new contract kick in and then then the year 17/18 will get the full benefit. So when do we get a Divi then? As we have no debt I reckon 17/18 should do it - can't wait for the 1st 6 months figures to come in!

I think it was the last webcast that ST said the UK was a conservative market and the focus was abroad. So it may be not that valuable in cash terms but to have both the RNLI and Trinity House as customers is quite a coup that can only raise the SRT profile. There are a lot of very safety conscious yachters in the UK and so it might just be a steady market but not perhaps mega contracts. It would be nice to get some detail tomorrow.

I typed 'trinity house' into the search bar on the SRT website and up it came. No real details or value but a prestigious contract non-the-less. A little bit of gun-jumping I think.

I can find nothing on the website. Is this a pre-AGM leak as it would be a good announcement to make then?

A new government will be able to look at the HRW/GWK question more objectively but for the next year or so it might have one or two other things to think about! I think however that Boris Island may safely be said not be in the running!

Was this the Monday the 21st of March? If so It's the reason I bought another £3k. The trial/test should complete this year. If successful it could be of national importance to India and a major commercial importance to MWG.

Thank you for your response. It does amaze me that this board attracts what seems to be personal spats instead of measured opinions. I agree that MWG is in a good position in general. Obviously I hope we go ahead with Gib but I suspect the Government there has a couple of other things on their collective minds since Friday. I'm sorry you see my posts as negative, If indeed you have looked at all my posts you will see that I reported buying more shares in both April and May - I also posted the reasons. I take that as a positive. Please reread my posts for this month and you will see my funding question was in regard to the Gibraltar government. As I said £21 Mill is a lot for the small population.

Last Sunday I asked if anybody knew where the funding for the project was coming from as it's a big sum for a small population. Nobody replied. Spain has threatened to close the border and the Gib Government will have a lots of of stuff to deal with including economic concerns. I think It's up in the air.
