The current MK is some 15/16 months of last years revenue. Take out the cash element and its only 8/10 months of revenue. If the MOD contracts are signed off and you could buy TP at todays price it would be almost free after 3 to 4 years. I think a bid could treble the SP. Personally speaking I just want to go with the ride as I would love to see the potential that this could go to.

Sorry Qd, no USP. It's a company that wishes to grow by selected acquisitions (and so far successfully) but it places importance on organic growth. It also wants the overheads covered by re-occurring revenues (still to be achieved) Oh - the workforce seem happy. The high MK may reflect that this will possibly become a high margin company with good dividend potential.

Difficult to work out the Virginia costs. say 2 to 4 jobs saved at Bicester but I think some 6 to 7 created jobs at Virginia plus the cost of running the site and certifying it for the proposed nadcap approval which is incidentally some 2 years behind the original schedule. It is apparently expected later this year. We seemed to break even at revenue of around 3 Mill in the past but if you look at HDD's own forecasts for the next 3 years we would need to run at some 4 to 4.7 Mill to do the same. There is of course a pick up to come from the UK not least of which may be fracking. The Government seem keen but that is a couple of years away I reckon. The next 6 months will be interesting!

Yes Dibs very positive. The last 6 months of last year had a 25% revenue improvement. If the current half -year to march does the same then this should continue hopefully throughout the year. Although Virginia has added to our overheads this year could be on track to breakeven anyway. Without the aerospace orders other areas such as the airport scanners should assist breakeven. If so then this would take any aerospace orders directly into profit. One of the attractions of HDD is the business model. There are no real raw stocks to house, control, pay for and process - the customer gives you the product, you coat it, attach an invoice and return it! Simples!

The company forecast a loss last year and not only achieved it but increased the cash holding??!! The Forecast this year is another loss. Oh no you don't get me twice! The cash situation has improved so I think a small profit will be announced this year. I'll roll with Dar-. No dividend this year - keep the cash pile to promote the business but when there is a divi make it meaningful and progressive in line with the business growth. The last 3 or 4 years have transformed this business and I want this to continue. I wish to hold my shares and make my old age comfortable!

This was done at 1.6 pence to I think mainly institutional investors. Maybe, just maybe, we will get back to this. At least the latest one last year at half of that is nicely in profit. Encouragingly there was a fair bit of BOD input into that one so well done them. Oh happy days!

Yes looks good, But unless the bread and butter sales pick up we are reliant on an invoice to the big contract to keep the full years figures at a respectable level. It feels a little bit hit and miss at the moment.

Re todays price. I'm guessing there's some speculation going on. According to the latest full year report there's a raft of testing going on with a variety of customers across the plane building spectrum. Providing the Oil and Gas business keeps slowly improving, as the last results state, then we may become viable anyway - well almost. So maybe, just maybe, something bigger is about to be announced. I'm absolutely certain that one aerospace order will open the floodgates. This is a company that has never made any real profits but has always had a 3/4/5/ times MK value to revenue. (excluding a dark day or two 5 or 7 years ago) My belief is that dividends is the real reward with this company.

Hi RRJ, yes just had a look but as there's also a helicopter and a Eurofighter I guess it's the BOD air fleet!!

Probably reflecting footsie - ouch if it goes down! Supplier contracts to airbus needed. Leonardo seems not to bothered. September or bust?! I think outlook is good. HCP is on it's way out anyway.

With the recent SP rise the MK has now increased to one third of revenue instead of a quarter. This improvement is in spite of the fact that in the previous 2 years we have had a December notice of interim dividends and a January pay-out but not this timelast month. The last set of accounts did state that the BOD intended a progressive dividend policy but gave no notice of one. It was not mentioned at the AGM either. Anybody any thoughts/ideas/info?

1. Announce upbeat trading statement. 2. Await a rise in the SP. 3. Use said rise to acquire another company.

Thanks bakky, as I sort of thought - but was unclear about - a certain collaboration but with real SRT advantages. Your insight is really welcome. The SRT technological advantage is clear - lets hope we get some bread and butter revenue in the last half of this year!

Hi Bakky, certainly seems to be a leap forward. Presumably these satellites see any AIS? Are we in direct completion with ExactEarth or does our AIS have technological advantages over others? I know ST was talking about satellite coverage re the S American bid last year.

Happened to me on a few occasions, I look at the cash figure and if it's say £2988 then I assume it's its a 3k purchase minus dealing costs. Not exactly scientific but can help to determine a buy or sell. After all, it's based on the sale/purchase price which is never going to be 100% accurate.

A slight difference in size makes comparison a little difficult?

I have previously lamented the failure of Fastvein to gain any real traction and that other biometric recognition methods seem to have overtaken us. Page 3 of todays Times has an article about how fingerprints can be obtained from photos of the fingers from up to 3 Mt's away and that iris scanning is suspect after Angela Merkel's iris data was stolen at a press conference. Perhaps we're not behind the curve after all!
