We only did 2.7 Mill of revenue in the 1st half so unless there's a hefty invoice on the year old Asian contract we could be in for a bad set of annual figures at the March year end. perhaps this drop is in anticipation?

Hi Rivaldo - Possible a tad harsh re HDD. I've been there some dozen years and am showing a 20% sp profit. This year end next September will make losses but be close to breakeven given the grace of god and a following wind. This follows last years new W Virginian production facility which has increased costs. This in turn follows some 8 years or so testing with Airbus which Airbus finally approved last year. Testing is now with suppliers. Providing they place orders all is well but if not the Oil & Gas trade is coming back anyway. Look at this years AGM statement which echo's previous pronouncements and read it in the context of last years results and previous statements. Half year results to the end of March will be posted on the 26th of May with a further update. This shows a certain confidence. Many a slip I grant you but I've got a feeling that HDD' perseverance will at last pay-off. Two last points - the latest cash call had a lot of BoD input and the latest Directors option gives some 4 years to get a 150% rise in the share price (2.5p) plus break into IBETDA profit. Pretty telling I think.

The MOD procurement team now try to engage more directly with contractors in an effort to reduce budget overruns which partly explains the two direct contracts being negotiated. Interestingly the recent acquisitions can only complement TP's offering which could strengthen the negotiating hand. TP also does work for foreign navies so this whole thing has a lot of kudos for future business. Plus of course any more sabre rattling from Putin can only help. Good times a-coming!

Yes it is important and it has been steadily rising as the oil price has risen/stabilised. It may be that GE will be putting in further orders to us if it keeps rising. Re the directors option - as I work it out the option has to have an sp of 2.5 times the current price over 3.5 years (end of Year 18/19 plus 12 months) Should stroll it I reckon.

Yes Profitbear, it does look as if at long last the product range and foreign distributors can start to raise revenue. I've been here 7 years and this is the most promising I've seen. The best for me is that at 10.25p I break even! Maybe at long last and for the first time the optimist BOD might just be right.

Well the mk is over twice the annual revenue and we have made a loss with static revenue for some 5 years or so. Yes the company has announced some good news but then they always have! For instance the d2p additional ingredient is supposed to be cost effective for the manufacturer but the new gloves are 3 or 4 times the price!?! Dunno. I am more positive than for the last 7 years or so but a way to go I think. The full years report should be interesting.

No RNS and there seems to be as many buyers as sellers. However I do know that sells and buys can be reported inaccurately. Any body got a clue?

Yes I think we will show a small profit for last year - after all the cash balance has gone up 2 Mill!! If so then the market cap is only about one years revenue at 8p (stripping out the cash) I think 10p is easily achievable - it's going to be interesting reading the full years report. No divi this year but grow the business to really strong growth in MK, SP, and profits. Ye-Har!

Yes Dibs - good to see the date for the half year figures - shows a bit of confidence. Interesting that our year end and the possible HCP ban coincide. You would think that we may even see some aerospace revenue perhaps in the last quarter? I think I would be happy with a break-even year this year with the huge aerospace potential to come.

Look at HDD. 10-15 years trying to breakthrough to profit but it is a well run company. Unique high-tech patented product. Extremely low cost business model. Possible ban (Europe and USA) on it's main environmentally damaging rival process. Cough and collect!

Your post Friday 15.43, My personal observation is that as the share price has come down from over 40p a rise of 8.5p from 3p is not excessive.

Possibly a little harsh bear. If It's true that lots of shares are held by older directors and retired directors then this is good. I can sell my shares at a profit and I've not been here long. It therefore follows that older shareholders are also in profit and consequentially the longer they hold the better they think it will be. These Directors possibly know more about future prospects than your or I combined!!.

Thanks bakky - say roughly a third of a mill or some 36th of last years figures or an eighth of the first half revenue for this year. As I've said before these initial orders open up further future sales - probably just as well!!.

I'm a little uncertain here. I originally was a vigilante share holder until the merger and I have topped up a little since but it seems to me that it is vigilante that is doing all the heavy lifting. Fastvein has not really performed as the hype would have it. The locksmith shops don't really seem to be expanding with any real pace and it's alright saying that there is not a lot of competition around but maybe that's because there not a lot of business either. I'm disappointed that not only was there no January divi but no explanation of why not. I also am not to happy with the fact that it takes em some 5 months or so to announce results. Perhaps the above is why the MK is so low. Am I just a pessimist or what?

Yes Megabux but I have to say it only works with the right company. Over many years I averaged down with Aggriterra - Beef in Mozambique and Cocoa in Sierra Leone. What with political unrest in one and Ebola in the other I managed to turn 7K into a cash-out of £700.00. However TP at 11.0p makes it back and I'm certain it has a lot more legs than that - onwards and upwards!

I think so. Twill be interesting to see if there are a little flurry of buys in early April - this is definitely on my short list particularly as the threshold will rise. Good times ahead but I have to say about time too!!

When investing in start ups it helps if you keep a cash reserve. I first bought Corac in Sept 13 at 13p. When I saw the way the company was changing I gambled a little and followed the sp down some 6 or 7 times notably in Oct 15 at 3.7p and Jan 16 at 2.4p so I'm averaging 5.5p. This can backfire and you throw good money after bad but occasionally hunches come off and the result is lucrative.

Because it's been shipped it should have been invoiced and show in this years revenue. this is handy as the first half's figures were poor. Hopefully a good sized invoice to the big Asian project will be made and we will have a good year. It would be good to see another big long term contract but I think that after next year there may well be repeat/upgrade orders from existing customers wanting to expand their capabilities and start a steady stream of business. I base this on the continuous improvements that our R & D people seem to be developing. One question anybody - what is the cost of the 1500 unit order?

There's been quite a bit going on in the background the last couple of years or so. The question is - are we at last getting a product range? It could well be - and a varied one at that. 2017 could be the breakthrough year to rising revenues and maybe profits.

Good to get the first order within 11 months of announcing the trial. Hasn't set the sp on fire but could assist in any cash call. Anybody know if it can be retro fitted? I think the Bilfnger - Babcock trial has that potential. Halfful - I couldn't get the link
