Sorry bakky, Didn't mean to upset you. I bought in in Jan 16 I looked at a few webcasts before I did (but not for the last 6 years!) and looked at some of the year end reports and concluded that this was a company that had spent many years sorting itself out and seemed to be very forward looking. I got here by chance. I had a conversation a year or two ago with a friend of mine in Magor (South Wales) who mentioned the Geo (Vs) takeover by SRT some three years ago which drew my attention. He mentioned it because I have a sea-faring background. My appetite was wetted and I kept an eye on SRT and decided last Jan to invest. Pretty mundane really. I have no need to do further research as I am well in the planet profit. I am sorry you are not happy with ST but I speak as I find. I hope you se this post as factual and unemotional and accept that I have no wish to upset you. After all we're on the same side.

The revenue figures are all about the timing of the invoice as ST said in his latest webcast when asked about projected future figures. He has never ever over egged the pudding. He has also said that SRT has gained a reputation for doing what it says it will do. I therefore feel that Bakkies fears re the Asian contract are not to much of a concern as all contract have escape clauses. It seems the market has taken the 1st half figures in its stride. Onwards and upwards!!

Hi LG. HDD have never been overboard on announcements - which is good. HCP ban is 11 months away but is apparently subject to challenge and extension. How or why I know not but my hopes rest on the airbus approval of our alternative. I hope that airbus's stated approval of HDD some six months ago would work against any such extension as in fact it was approved 18 months before the proposed ban. The fracking go-ahead may give us business but to far away to be relevant. My hopes rest on the 2 recent cash calls/subscriptions. The 1st one was Directors plus private investors and the 2nd by professional fund managers. They (hopefully) must have a good reason to increase their stakes or make new ones. We have doubled our production capacity in the last year and with Virginia can quickly double again. Is todays jump a sign that orders are on the way? if so then we will quickly benefit.

Awful 1st half figures - BUT reasons to be cheerful. Presumably they do not include the three contracts announced so far this year and while they themselves may not be that big we should put in an invoice for the initial part of the Asian contract which is now worth some £75/80 Mill in total over the next 2/3 years with good profit margin. The Panama and Trinity House contract may not be that big but they sure as hell are high profile and prestigious. Any sales and marketing people will be building them in to current and future presentations. So far only single digit share percentage price reduction. The year end forecast is £12 Mill. My guess is we will exceed that - say to 14/15Mill? I can but hope!!

Good progress made. It appears my July caution was spurious. We've taken Brexit in our stride and The board seem to be on the ball. Obviously the Monarch deal may not continue and it would be good for us if Leicester stayed in Europe next season (but not at Spurs expense please!). But everything else seems well on track to break into profit in one or two years time. Might need to consider a top-up if the SP stays at these levels.

Yes an acquisition is a strong possibility. They may have need of a bit of cash to prepare for the (hopefully two) MOD contracts but that still leaves 5 or more Mill not required. They have stated that if they do it will be a cash generative proposition which means, to me, that as they are already cash generative there is good future dividend prospects. However this will be a couple of years yet but well worth waiting for.

It's a neat trick to break even and increase the cash reserves - bodes well for future dividends methinks! I expect a small profit this year although I actually don't expect the two Maritime contracts to add real revenue until the 2nd half of next year but what they will do is add stability to future profits. Evan at the new MC over 25% is cash. TPG is now part of my forever fund.

Not the biggest ever - BUT. SRT has worked with the customer for a year or so and ST has said that initial orders often flow through to further ones as the customer appreciates the extra facilities that can be built on. I guess there will be more to come. These sort of orders - if they develop, are our bread and butter while the MDM orders are the jam. I am a happy Bunny!

Hallo Dyfiman, Over the last 2/3 years this company has reinvented itself. The accent is now on a total overreaching concept. It has a positive cash balance and real engineering expertise. The major growth will come in 2018 when the full effect of the new contracts feed though. This is a buy and hold investment. I came in 3 years ago on a bet on a specific punt (down hole gas compressor) but I am glad I'm here as although that punt seemed to fail I have got myself into a well run company that could be a good long term money spinner.

Carnot, I can find no details regarding this. Please supply start date, end date and unit cost price.

At the last time I looked the company had 16 employees. If this is right it means that it has low admin and operational costs so it should be relatively easy to convert increased revenue into profits. This has a huge potential if they can keep the overheads down. I am very optimistic.

I hope your right You_Having. I have to say that if the Government owns the Company How they can justify not owning the debt sure beats the hell out of me - but I hope they can!

Hallo Junior. Well yes - but not in the next five minutes or so! Remember that the 2nd Government contract is not yet confirmed. But with the latest German contract award then the Defence division looks capable of hauling the company into profit next financial year all by itself. All of the contracts for this side of the business will need time to reflect on the balance sheet though. We could break into a small profit this year and if so then the following year will see real growth. It's difficult to see a down side. This company has really good growth potential which the low pound can only help. Let the good times roll!

Very promising. The MC is some 25/30% of current revenue. There's less than 17 Mil shares in a profitable company with rising revenue and profits and no real debts. As I've said before we are the Millwall of the AIM.

Hallo and welcome Southbeach. Things are a little quiet at the moment. Two years ago a placing was made at 1.6p to fund Virginia, we then got hit by the oil glut and revenue declined and earlier this month there was a BOD subscription to keep things going. The subscription also involved substantial private shareholders which one hopes means that there is some good news to come. Incidentally, judging by the RNS's we seem to have quite a few substantial private shareholders of long standing - I just hope they have made a rational business decision rather than desperately trying to save their money! The HCP ban is now a year away. I believe it is possible to put the date back but I don't know what the criteria would be to achieve this. I hope that as Airbus has approved HDD this would weigh against an extension. As I've said before - Squeaky bum time!

Don't really want to state the bleeding obvious but as you familiar with the various sales channels a couple of recent webcasts from ST (who is now a saint!) plus an odd RNS or two - both available from the Company website and you will know as much as the rest of us because the MDM contracts are, allegedly, security sensitive as well as being potentially game changing. Time to buy back?.

I agree with Megabux. Monty888 has not read the last 2/3 years interims and annual reports properly and has missed a whole host of major changes Not least the reorganisation and consequential cash savings made last year that will fully come through this year. Couple that with rising revenue and a small breakthrough profit is possible - at least in the full year - even without any acquisitions . We'll know more in three weeks. In the meantime we have great forward revenue to savour.
