He stood down last week. No notice. No explanation. We still await last years figures. Methinks a set back is coming!!

Googled it and got a lot of info - some of it beyond me, well actually most of it! However I saw nothing about Patent Protection linked to Modern Water. Great process but not to sure just how we benefit.

If we breakeven on O&G sales this year this will be an achievement because W Virginia is a major extra cost. As this sector is picking up then we will benefit for the next year or so until the next O&G crunch. Basically as I see it we are viable anyway. Aerospace is a fantastic extra that I think is certain and this is what is raising the sp. At current levels I have doubled my stake and will hold until dividends repay this stake - I can but dream! .. dg il and

Quite possibly. We only did 2.7 Mill in the 1st half and in the 2nd half Simon said that sales came from all revenue streams. As we did some 8.5 Mill in the 2nd half then we properly got no real revenue from the 70/80 Mill Asian contract signed in March last year. Since then we have signed the Trinity House and Panama contracts in July 16, a West African order in September and a Saudi Arabia order in October. This year we've signed one in S America and one in the Middle East. These are government contracts which ALLWAYS go back in my experience but it is the start of a belt of orders. If the 03/16 contract takes a further 4 years to complete it still averages 20 Mill a year or so. It's a bit of a pity Simon cannot be more specific but the next 'open' day gives an opportunity to clarify things.

Hi Dar-. I'm technically not that good, but, I believe the company can set current profits against past losses in current accounts. But as you say this will take 2/3 years to unwind. However I think there is a process that allows the company to give up this benefit to allow divi's to be paid which they couldn't do if they wanted to keep this benefit. I forget the technical name but I think we have triggered it? I am a little floundering here. Pub lunches do have repercussions!! I think this process may have been triggered?

I think the last 5 years or so may have some impact on the poor sp. We've only done some 20ish mill of revenue annually and lost some 17 mill in that time. The current MK is just above the projected revenue for this year. My guess is that as we break into profits and contemplate a divi, say next year, then the potential will be recognised. The MK could well double in the next couple of years as the financial strength is appreciated by the market - one can but hope!!

Simon was a coy as ever about revenues and contracts. But if that's what the customer requires so be it. But he did say that multiple projects were on the go. 7th of June accounts should be a little clearer and by the open day in July then there will be a good indication of how the 1st 6 month is shaping up. Well over 2/3 thirds of last years revenue was in the 2nd half so if that builds then I an extremely optimistic of a record period. Patience is required I feel - after all SRT been trading 30 years now so what's another year? BUT to tempt fate - what's the betting on a maiden divi at the end of this financial year?

YES. Lets be positive. Historical info from Fox has been much to optimistic. This has now changed. From being a Company that was hopeful of delivering it now seems to have a practical pathway to profitability ( I may patent that!) But seriously if your prepared to risk the political environment - what can possibly go wrong! Bearing in mind this is the AIM - Oh dear.

I have a feeling that this is a slow burner that will build and build and, possibly build. We have a MK of 30 Mill but government contracts of 50 Mill. The recent changes the BoD have put in place over the last couple of years are really starting to bear fruit. I got here some 4 years under the DGT punt. So glad I stayed and bought in again when we exited that DGT cash burner.

Indeed it is 5eights, personally speaking I wouldn't say no to a cash and share takeover, providing it was a major player of course. Time will tell - onwards and upwards as my old branch manager used to say.

I too await the interims - especially as Hardide flagged them earlier. This is I think the last of the unknown unknowns! From this year on Hardide will reach its breakeven point with existing customers and move upwards anyway. Aerospace has the potential to rocket this company into the stratosphere! Sorry!! This is an AIM start-up. It comes with all the Hype, Glitz and Bling of a Hollywood musical - unless of course its high tech from a university which does the same but takes years and years to crash and burn. Fox actually is starting to make sales and if Gilbert is to be believed it has the local government on board. At this price this seems a controlled gamble as the BOD has been at it for a few years now and is still at it. What's not to like?

According to the 1st of April presentation the polishing line will be commissioned by the end of the month. I've only bought in earlier this month partly after watching that video. I've been following this for two years and my trigger was the start of shipping of the Indian order and to beat the year end results. I don't think the figures will be that important but I'm pretty sure the update on this current year will be excellent and a really positive picture will be painted. Many a slip I grant you but I was impressed by Gilbert's acknowledgement of previous mistakes re delays to production facilities. He stated that slicing and then polishing were the next high margin activities. As current sales are for blocks then the sale of polished and unpolished slab can only be a high margin boost. One would hope that profits will be curtailed by development costs on future quarries. Get multiple quarries running, say 2 or 3 and then debt to develop more becomes affordable and major profits can be made because the basic product is extremely cheap as once the basic infrastructure is in place it is then free. Say 3 years to a dividend but only 1 year to a big sp rise. I'm happy to wait. polishing was s e.

I've been here 7 years and so far 3.5k is now 5K so I am pleased a hunch has progressed. My point is that SYM made a profit last year and in addition there seems to be sales and distributer channels opening up. There is now a definite forward momentum. The year end is December and if we continue to make profits this year and next then there could be a year end divi in 2019 I like to think I'm now potentially reaping the rewards of patience and any competitors appear to be behind the curve.

Hi there, I've just bought 5k this week and believe they have done both production and sales. I've followed this for the last 18 months or so and the Indian order pricked up my ears and this is now shipping. The 1st April presentation and recent videos were impressive. Chris Gilbert talks a good fight but I appreciated his honesty re recent delays. He seems to have a good handle on how he sees fox developing and, importantly, with the Kosovo quarry licences it may even become achievable. This could go mega!

Hi marine, I was not aware of IP investment but presumably this means that any short term capital requirements will not be to much of a problem which was a concern to me so thanks for that. Hi Riddler, I too have a few niche tech stocks and HDD and SRT are also potentially coming through so I defo agree. Incidentally I first bought here 7 years ago on the back of forward osmosis so one has to have patience but it's good to see hunches coming good.
