While nations continue work through a global agreement yiu would think that common sense would dictate that oxo biodegradable solutions should be mandated. Let’s at leleast try to mitigate the problem if plastic pollution and microplastics while nations figure out a longer term strategy. Existing tech, very low cost, no capex requirements for manufacturers of plastics and proven to be effective by independent product testing.

The UK should be leading on this and promoting its UK based businesses like SYM on the global stage as an interim solution to a massive and growing problem until we get some agreement on how to tackle plastics.

Im emailing Emma Hardy (labour govts minister for water) to highlight the opportunity here. Would be great for others to also do this as would help increase chances of getting some visibility with the minister. Most likely will make no difference but what else have got to do while we wait for SYM to update us on good news.

Good to raise this issue with your local MP also and see if can get raised for debate in parliament.

I might be left having to eat my hat on this one Shatter but suspect that Q3 again is quiet for Sym. They recently updated that expect a number of commercial discussions and the Indian d2w ref approval conclude this year and into next (calendar). Probably best to assume Q1 2026 given track record and use market weakness as a chance to top up if you still believe in the investment opportunity here. We’re all finding it very frustrating I’m sure but this is where things are at.

I’d be delighted to proved wrong obviously and for my part am continuing to hold. What’s another few months when you’ve been invested for 15 years!

You’d think that news is close definitely. But one thing that SYM have been brilliantly consistent with is under delivery.

However, they have teed expectations up so much now and as mentioned many times - 2 funding rounds at a premium, CEO buying stock etc etc so either the Board are the most incredible fraudsters or we are about to get a slew of good news and upgrades to earnings forecasts.

In truth while I’m still holding and confident, I really cant be 100% one way or the other.

Liking the positivity JSC. You mentioned back at the end of June that you believed there were two announcements wi th in grasp. I’m assuming one of those was the new diamond permitting news recently RNS and the other would be mining permits for poly metallic prospects?

If we get this soon, as you infer, then interested if you think likely that mining major like BHP would come in for exploration stage or wait until Bod have drilled out exploration holes and obtained more data on commercial viability and scale of resource?

No doubt India might be keen to avoid additional tariffs from US and may have to pull back on buying Russian oil. You would think then that they would be especially keen to get their own hydrocarbons out the ground to make up the shortfall.

Just a thought. Probably too logical for the crooks in government though sadly.

Been a couple of days recently where someone has sold a reasonable amount of stock. Looks to be absorbed quite easily though so suspect there is a buyer still building a position. (It’s not me)

Over 300k shares traded towards close probably explains the sharp fall. Let’s just hope it’s a forced sale rather than someone who knows there’s some bad news coming.

I can’t see anything new on news today. Maybe an RNS logged for release tomorrow morning and someone got wind of it.

Maybe nothing at all and just some volatility as a large position trying to exit in a very illiquid share.

What we do know is that Indus have stated that they may need to raise funds to continue as a going concern and they currently don’t have any revenue. A placing without too much of a discount would be an ok outcome. Short term debt repayment is around £5m I think and there will be operating costs to cover even though not selling gas.

Agree with this Schlum. EU could be very significant but we knew this already with the two previous announcements in recent weeks. The new info in the AGM statement is how weak H1 revenues have been. I know it’s all about the future of course but we had been led to believe break even would be achieved. It hasn’t been. They have cash from new share issuance to invest for growth and cover convertible debt maturity at year end but would be good to have cash from trading coming in now and not still going out.

I was planning to attend F4C but have had to change plans unfortunately. Not even able to join virtually.

I think though that it would be good to ask SYM for an investor meet company session as there is so much going on at the moment and H2 could be transformative for the company.

Pretty bland with more comments about significant growth just around the corner. Stand out part is the lack of breakeven in either in q1 or q2 this yea, with revenue for the half lower than H1 2024. We were led to believe that breakeven would be achieved in H1 2025.

Still confident on the outlook here but mightily frustrating company that never quite seems to deliver actual sales growth.

No mention of India and reg approval progress or expected timeline nor anything on nbr.

Looks like any larger sells are still be accumulated. Plenty of long term investor support here still. Would be nice to have an update with the AGM tomorrow that shows some real progress but I suspect it will be bland. Exciting RNS s to come later in the year.

I can only apologise to investors here as I bought some more BOD yesterday and my buys generally have the effect of sending share prices downwards shortly after.

Apparently though we have good news due soon so hopefully only a temporary effect.

I’ve No more funds to buy again…might also be a medium term positive factor for everyone!

Ha - yes long way for sure. I’m still -68% here so a long way on a personal level as well. A few percent a day without any RNSs though would be welcome.

Interesting that there is a bit of life in this one at the moment. No obvious reason with GAIL legal action looking set to drag on for a while.

Any ideas? Or just part of normal share price fluctuations
