Have been reading this message board for a good while, there are some very knowledgeable contributors here, some not so! Anyway the longer term Poo and political outlook has drawn me in and I am already encouraged by the recent director buys. My major concern was the companies debt and poor hedging however both are reducing and the general outlook for Enq looks positive to me, it has languished for a long while but I think strong results will be coming. I am here for the long haul and look forward to the parties for 60p and dividends.

Perhaps Mr Hardy investing back some of his dividends, we do not see our BOD investing back theirs!

Gas now 427p/therm in the Summer. Heaven knows what it will be if we have a long cold Winter in Europe. The Ukraine conflict will rumble on for maybe years and Europe will have to wean themselves completely away from Russian oil and gas. The business outlook for the near and medium for both SQZ and Kistos is simply phenomenal, profits are going to be huge. Do we really want to be taken out by a smaller competitor with an offer, funded by our own cash, just as the selling price for our commodity is starting to peak. The Eigg drills also need consideration.....

Given where we are now the Kist deal is a big no for me despite the fact a year ago I would have been all for it. Our business fundamentals are simply too strong now and I feel that we are grossly undervalued by the market. It is my hope that this is a wake up call for our directors and moving forward we are going to be rewarded with significantly increased dividends. Longer term I am now in this for dividends rather than the SP growth that lured me in to invest here several years ago. Just my view and opinion, as always each to there own!. GLA

Think iog could benefit from Sqz's operational expertise they already have producing assets as well as others near to producing. There is so much going on and so many possibilities....Its all fascinating and exciting, its certainly a distraction so not getting much of my own work done. My divi has not hit my account yet, although its already allocated and will be invested immediately upon receipt. Wish I had had the liquidity of Monmur with his pre-invested dividend mindset when the SP was in the 280's. Who said that investment was dull, it is exciting and there is so much to play for, love it! atb.

Ricky3 a voice of sense and reason. The Jog staff are undoubtedly busy planning and not least digesting the implications of the recent tax changes and revising plans/forecasts accordingly, the market will be updated in due course. In my view the macro and political environments have never been better for this project/development. Hoping that all the LTH will be generously rewarded for their investments soon. atb

Must be approaching the point where the SQZ board should be considering buying their own shares and taking a defensive position especially given the SP weakness. This would both bolster the SP making the hostile Kistos offer look less attractive especially to undecided share holders and give them additional clout should this have to go to a shareholder vote. Thoughts anyone?

NewKotb - That is intriguing and written with conviction, I hope your spider senses are right. All this will be covered by NDA's so as ever it is a awaiting and hoping game. SQZ has performed royally for me as it has many LTH, if correct, your theory would again be transformational. Sold the lion share of my holding around £4 now thinking about jumping back in again! You do so much to promote SQZ they should be paying you. atb.

Just dipped my toe in here for the first time. Previously had looked to buy and hold just for the shareholder perks of the on board spend, now looks to be the right time after monitoring for many months. Suppose I should start to look for a cruise now. GLA.

Mommur - Have you thought now of pre investing the dividend of your pre invested dividends! Sorry but the more I think about this mindset the more it amuses me! In all seriousness very well done I know you have been on here a long time and have a significant holding. atb.

What an unmitigated disaster this WFT is, or however this "Tory?" government want to dress this tax. Have now taken the majority of my hard earned cash from this sector. We know how much but we do not yet know who. I was hoping that this is to a single buyer and was going to be a precursor to an approach. Judging by the SP reaction this morning this is now looking like an unlikely scenario , we will know the purchaser soon enough.

Not withstanding I think we are holding far too much cash which continues to build. Think the Bod are feeling their vulnerability hence the option requested for a share buy back.

"I'm ready 'n' waiting to add given the opportunity " - Heck that is an aggressive stance Newkotb, I was sat back thinking that tomorrows results were going to give a gentle boost to our SP and I was going to be focusing on my divi not assembling a war chest for a battle. Feeling a little uneasy now!

Chaps - This is hardly a drop, this has risen from 115 to 400+ in the last year. A few pence drop and being 20p away from the ATH is hardly significant. Looking forward to reading tomorrows results and especially looking forward to our dividend announcement. ATB.
