Thanks for yet another reminder of the potential risk which I stated all invested here are already well aware of. Another annoying fool now filtered.

Think all invested here are well aware of the risks, I do not need to be reminded of this five times a day. Rather than focus on the downside perhaps look at the potential upside, the huge potential here is well documented. Look at how the macro environment has changed in the last year, significant shift toward the upside and risk reduction in my opinion, hopefully news from our BOD soon to silence the vocal naysayers.

Would have thought there would be much more activity here this morning with folk stuffing their 2022/23 ISA's with Jog shares. My allowance is already fully allocated here, sit back and wait for the deal to be done, hardly a tough gig!

NewKotb - Well done, it is a good job you managed to throw all those kitchen sinks at this when it was stuck in the 120's which was not that long ago. I hope that all your investment was held within your share ISA . I sold yesterday and this afternoon all those within my ISA, however still have a considerable amount stuck in my trading account which I am loathe to sell because it will trigger CGT. NewKotb - Once again thank you for all the effort and research you put into your posts it is appreciated by myself and many others. Your valuation and analysis in part has caused me to hang on to my holding here. Looks like we are entering a new phase of fossil fuel consumption where we are not viewed and portrayed as the climate change pariah. Fuel security and even the continuity of supply is coming to the fore, business and household budgets are being squeezed and the realisation that renewables currently fall far short from satisfying our demand. Will be interesting to see how far and how quickly the markets revalue the unloved and neglected oil and gas companies in the North sea, we can all see that this is already starting to happen. Higher fuel and commodity prices are here to stay methinks, they are after all a scarce resource. Atb.

Ripley - The LTH on here will not be interested in your trading. Sasa43 has been making interesting and informed comment on here for many years. I do not read them as ever being sarcastic, in fact they are considered and well balanced in my opinion. Good Luck with your investments but perhaps keep your individual trading to yourself.

What are SQZ going to do with our growing pile of cash? No good can come of it sitting festering it needs to be put to work or returned to Shareholders. Would suggest that there are no value deals with the commodity prices so high, no deal could be seemingly found when prices were low so a Special dividend and a much improved annual or even quarterly dividend please!

Sounds like we are both in a very similar situation, I accumulated these for around two years in the 89p to 120p range. SQZ might as well be my entire portfolio, I only hold a small amount Jog, IOG and I3E which are tiny by comparison. Eggs all in one basket, a big risk but calculated risk which will fully fund my retirement. Did initially plan to sell around 250p however now holding out for 300+. Greedy I know but this company has so much going for it with gas prices as they are, the cash build must be incredible and will continue for the foreseeable with the Ukraine tensions and gas stocks low. Looking forward to the day where I can stop looking at the share price and the two bulletin boards.

A war would be the ultimate Blackswan event for us all, our investments would be the least of our concerns. Let us hope that all sides find an acceptable compromise. atb.

Looking at the trades we are controlled/manipulated by the Bots this morning. Difficult to understand this given the current cash build, guess all we can do is hold or follow your conviction and accumulate further. At some point surely the market will have to reflect the fundamentals here. Will this be:
1 When we are taken over/sold/merged with someone else.
2 Announce publish/file amazing results.
3. Spend our cash on new producing assets.
Not overly bothered myself which of the above options happens, I just want fair value reflected in our asset with my own investment decision vindicated. I feel increasingly frustrated that this is not happening. Is it because our board are not marketing our company effectively, or am I impatient and maybe made a poor investment decision? atb.

Agree with what you said NKOTB however you have omitted that this is not a fashionable industry, the environmentalists are against us and every natural disaster is blamed on the use of fossil fuels with fingers pointing in our general direction. We are shunned by many Investment funds as a result. With our recent high commodity prices there will be increasing public pressure to ensure windfall taxes are imposed. These are significant headwinds that I believe are undoubtedly stifling our share price at the moment, these are not going away any time soon.

I think the board should sell our cash cow, as previously noted there are many private equity outfits that will be based in tax havens that will have no concerns regarding the environmental headwinds. Sell to somebody that can milk what we have and give us fair value for our assets £3++ per share. AIMO.

While this in ultimately good for our investment in SQZ it is tinged with sadness for me. Folk need to heat their houses and stay warm, the gas price is inelastic, people have to buy whatever the price. This will present some people less fortunate than ourselves with difficult choices as to how their money is to be spent. I would rather it be sensible and sustainable rather then this crazy volatility. Some would say simply market forces but it does not seem right sometimes.

Now is clearly not the time to be buying North Sea assets, it is time for selling them....

Given the £124,000,000 revenue per month from Jan 2022 come reporting in April our COH should exceed our current MCap of £670m. Current cash around 200M + 480M (Jan till April 22). Fag packet calculation obviously but this could be primed for a hostile takeover given these circumstances. What an opportunity for somebody. aimo.

Revenue is looking great into 2022 if our commodity price holds, which is looking increasingly likely given the politics. Our Bod have not identified a plan nor anything to spend it on as yet, surely return some to the shareholders... Fandabbydosey indeed. Must say that given these positive numbers why is this not reflected in the share price, it is starting to drive me a little Kranky. atb.

No stress, we will all be rewarded for our patience, the fundamentals must eventually prevail. Pending news from the operations update mid Dec then BKR completion, so much to happen in the very near future. We have to trust our Bod I'm sure they are busy evaluating approaches and of course counting the enormous mountain of beans we must be amassing. GLA.
