Self fulfilling prophecy Oracle, definitely. It is a very common phenomenon and easy to spot. This is a textbook example of a gap filling, and an opportune time to top up or average up (or down) if you wish.

The textbook example of what many PIs do is shareexpert, they sell at the bottom of the fill when they should have brought more. I wonder if he/she brought back?

The main metric any investor should be bothered about here is growth. As long as the company print growth like they have been, the only way is up in the long run as the SP plays catch up with forward p/e. When the music stops, I will be the first to take profit, but for now the volume has been turned up a notch to 11!

I reckon it is worth about the same as being diluted to oblivion with BP asset and satisfying the BH. A 5% stake in the new company is about equivalent to now, but without the risk of folding.

This option is far less risky than the BP deal. The premium being paid for is the fact that at least the SH can sleep at night knowing the company wont collapse under the weight of the huge debt pile.

The BH win, but fair enough as they choose the less riskier option in the first place.

And should act as a base now. Every penny it drops below the gap, it becomes a bigger buy.

It's all about the growth here. The only time this becomes a profit take is when it stops growing. Otherwise this is a several year hold.

You are probably right seaking in saying regardless of what the FDA say, the world are in desperate need of a vaccine and would not turn their noses up to a EU certified one, especially from AZN which is probably the closest watched candidate.

I reckon an open at mid 30's, first 5 mins will track down to low 30's, then the huge upward traders swing (I'll be aiming to catch that), then the slow but choppy decline to rest maybe 15-20% down, close to session lows.

The FDA decision to "widen the investigation" is looking more and more political to allow US pharmaceutical to catch up. My hunch has now become a fully blown suspicion as there is no reason why FDA will not allow AZN to continue trial, yet inject trump with a trial drug from a US pharma company.

If the US wants to play it this way, europe should perhaps scrutinise the very bad symptoms caused by moderna vaccine candidate! Ridiculous

Cant grumble with that considering this morning I thought it would be a blood bath. NEX once again shows its resilience and slowly tracking up. Very encouraging to see.

This couldnt have come at a worse time really. However I think there could be a silver lining in all of this. Trump not being able to attend rallies or debates means he must stay in the public limelight. What better thing to do than to issue every american lots of money. The probability of a stimulus package I think has increased somewhat, as trump now must have his name on that cheque. Also it gives Democrats the leverage to demand more, so expect to see the Republicans cede more ground d in terms of stimulus package amount.

This is probably the best thing that could have happened to trump in terms of being re elected TBH. People love a good sob story, and he will now be seen to be more "in touch" and "on the front line" of covid. I am sure his publicists are rubbing their hands together, and if played well could close the poll gaps.

How will the Democrats play this? With great caution I expect! One slip up now will see them insensitive to covid patients and if the democrats play hard ball re the desperately needed stimulus, this will not end well for them!

Buy on speculation, sell on news. Next few days we will churn a few traders that hoped for a quick buck...I'll be there to collect the lot at the bottom.

This is one of the hottest growth stocks on the London markets (very few) that just smashed expectations and growing rapidly. I'm happy as long as they keep printing those sorts of growth rates. 4s, 5s and 6s will all come and go in the coming months as the p/e has to keep up with future EPS.

Seen this a few times now. At one point it was down 4% to only come roaring back into positive territory at the end of the day. I wonder how many PI's have been caught out trying to play with this one....by far the best strategy was and still is to hold NEX for maximum gains.

Would be very surprised for the prophecy not to self fulfill now. At least we know there will be buyers at 890p, myself included which should then bring the average below 1000p. It looks like it could hit 890p today, maybe a short sharp move if 902 is breached.

It would be hard for anyone to argue against oilers being oversold to the extreme now. But its at times like this, big money is made. Extreme fear setting in now, when in fact shell is so well diversified can it even be called an oil company anymore?
