"All new news is old news happening to new people"
Twohits, unfortunately I don't have all day to sit and make 'hits' in reply to other's comments. The article from which I quoted the passage was only published on Thursday, I only read it this morning and it seemed a suitable response to your comment. I'm sorry it appears to have got your back up that a reliable source disagrees with your assertion that Sodium batteries are "not viable for vehicles".
leas, I don't have an agenda. I am invested in many Lithium companies and other battery material stocks. I have been invested in Zinnwald since the inception of the company, my original holding being a conversion from Erris Resources stock when Bacanora divested themselves of it. I have every reason to hope they are successful.
My first comment to you was suggesting that if the dearth of available Lithium becomes too great then the drive towards cheaper and more readily available Sodium is likely to be accelerated. My following comment to Twohits was in response to him dismissing the idea that EV manufacturers (particularly Tesla) would not hesitate to embrace Sodium batteries. Your comment that "supply cannot meet current demand" is the very reason this switch could be accelerated, Sodium being easily 'manufactured'.
As I said I believe "Lithium will have a good run", however it would be naive to ignore the alternatives and stick with the notion that Lithium is here to stay. Much the same as Silicon potentially replacing some if not all the Graphite in the anodes. Therefore, it is important to keep an eye on the emerging technologies.
Sorry if you think my posts are "really pointless". No offence intended.
