Government Funding Secured to Construct a Demonstration Plant at the Trelavour Hard Rock Lithium Project

Cornish Lithium Ltd (the “Company” or “Cornish Lithium”), the pioneering mineral exploration and development company based in Cornwall, UK, is pleased to announce that it has secured additional funding from Innovate UK through the Automotive Transformation Fund’s (“ATF”) Scale up Readiness Validation competition (“SuRV”). The funds received via this competitive process will be used to fund the construction of the hydrometallurgical section of a demonstration scale processing plant at the Company’s Trelith Processing Site associated with the Trelavour Hard Rock Lithium Project (“Demonstration Plant”) near St Austell.

The 'killas' are the sedimentary and metamorphic rocks that abut the granite. I believe most of the mineralisation occurs at the junction of the two.
Although the latest report for United Downs talks of "steeply dipping vein or “lode” structures" this is not always the case. Last year and into this, they were test drilling in my village (Carnkie) which is only about 4 miles from UD. My house is virtually on the 'Great Flat Lode', named for obvious reasons. The lodes can rapidly change direction due to folding of the strata.

Re. brownfield sites
CUSN - SC is an existing mine, Carnkie (which is my beautiful village) is likely to be accessed from SC, UD/Twelveheads is a traditional mine area already covered in tailings.
CL and BL - if you've ever seen their target areas, it is like a moonscape from the previous china clay mining all around the area. The Cornish Alps are the huge tailings heaps.
CL Brine is really low surface impact, they were talking about having the kit in shipping container at the open day.
If they do progress the reprocessing of the existing tailings they have an opportunity to rectify some of the environmental damage that years of china clay mining has caused.
I have not heard any dissenting local opinion, views seem to range from slightly interested to excitement.

Never mind SC and UD, what about Carnkie? I need to know if it is worth me planting my winter vegetables.

Personally I think that while there is perceived dilution the fact that we have a large capital injection to take the project forward and bringing on experience 'to boot' has to be a good thing. Difficult to say how the market will react but I think it will be positive.
To save getting caught 'with pants down' stick half in now and hold back half for a possible dip, at least you should average out better. NFA DOYR

Has there been any link to access a stream of the meeting or is it only accessible by dialling the number given in the notice of the meeting?

Do you think there'll be a future for synthesised graphite in the 'green revolution'? Or is the future going to lie with green natural graphite producers like Nouveau Monde?
I understand the efficiency advantage of synthesised graphite but is this enough to overcome its terrible carbon (sorry) footprint.

Fingers, I agree with the open pit scenario, otherwise, why would they be talking about reinstating forests and peat bogs. As I'm sure you are aware the hole in the ground won't be big enough for the spoil they'll create, the bin men will have to look elsewhere for their rubbish pit. ;^)

Comms may not be what you're expecting but if you look on other juniour lithium miner boards (EMH, CUSN, SAV etc) you will see the same complaints you are making. You'll also find the same on fora that discuss US juniors as well (PLL, Frontier.....). This isn't specific to PREM.
Why would GR delay giving news if he has it (unless it is dire)? The sooner he can get the results out the sooner he can get more investment and make progress. The fact he is increasing the drilling suggests they know they are on to something.
The geologist I spoke to was saying that they were going back to do more drilling on another one of their sites, he said they know the extent of the lode in the area they were drilling but needed to do more samples at a different angle to confirm the thickness of the lode. Again, this information hasn't been the subject of an RNS, just a private conversation (he wouldn't expand on the results for obvious reasons) but the fact they are redrilling suggests they are on to something and just have to define it for investment purposes, I'm sure it's similar with PREM.

We're not alone. I hold shares in quite a few Lithium prospects and none of them have come forward to say there is a delay in assaying. It was only that I had an opportunity to have a chat with the CUSN geologist and that in the discussion about their drilling in my village he said that the results were taking longer than usual. I'm sure PREM will update us when the results are examined, you shouldn't expect them to be releasing RNS for every little operational issue. If you're expecting fast results, you're investing in the wrong game.

I was talking to a geologist from CUSN the other day and he was saying that there is a huge backlog in assaying cores in the labs all over Europe. Not saying they are having their cores tested in Europe or that this is the reason but it is likely to be contributing.

If you look at the underlying commodity prices you'll see why. Apart from the Nickel spike they've all been relatively flat.
